I'm in a really awkward situation. I'm in my late 20s, and my wife and I divorced a year and a half ago after 4/5 ish years of being married.

In the time that we were married, we accumulated a lot medical debt, so we've been living together after the divorce to save and pay off the debt so we can move out separately.

Everything has been fine, I did feel pretty blind sided by the divorce, but we've been on good terms. But last week she decided to start dating again, and because we live in the same space, I've basically had a front row seat to her dating life and it's sent me into a really deep depression. So much so that I've started taking medication to treat my depression and anxiety.

I've established boundaries in the apartment to make it somewhat bearable. I told her I don't want to know anything about her dating life, but I feel like she follows that very loosely.

I've been on Tinder for the past 6 months with no success l, but she just opened an account and has been on 6 dates in the last week. I feel like I'm just going to be alone forever.

I'm trying to work on myself. I go to the gym everyday, eat healthy, I see a therapist, but I feel like this depression can't be fixed until I can move out and get some distance.

Anyway, that's all, just needed to vent and get my story out somewhere. If you've read all the way to this point, I appreciate you taking the time to to read it all.

EDIT: I want to thank everyone who commented on this post. Seriously, you've all offered amazing insight, or at least made me feel like I'm not going crazy. This sort of kicked my ass in gear and I'm going to reach out to a bunch of places and get another roommate. We're in a smaller town, so I don't know a lot of people, but it's better than staying here

I'm sorry, I'll try to reply to all of you when I get some time later, but again, thank you again everyone. I appreciate the support and opinions everyone has offered
