"Obviously we agreed to these terms given that Judges in domestic relation courts operate based on a preponderance of evidence (51% true)" -- this is not correct. They're supposed to do so but the incentives for the judges generally makes them much more willing to grant the orders than an actual preponderance would suggest.

Document everything. Use cameras when you can. Unfortunately, you will want to do this with your children for some time as well because another false accusation is coming. It will be after something normal -- in my case it was I gave my 3 year old daughter a bath. Yes, I touched my daughter because that's how bathing works.

The system will never believe you. You have to build evidence and get 3rd parties on your side.

When you see your children, document what it was like when they arrived, what you did, how they were afterward. If they see you on Wednesday afternoons, send an email to their daycare/school on Wednesday afternoon asking how the children were on Tuesday and today. Send another on Thursday asking the same. That way when your ex claims "the children are in distress" you can say, "when did this happen, exactly" and point to a record saying, "they're only that with you, it seems".

Talk to CPS workers like you talk to a child you're trying to convince of something. "Well, we don't see the children showing any signs of fear when they're with me, signs of distress before seeing me, or signs of dysregulation after seeing me... do you think we should consider that when deciding on if the children are frightened of me?"

Never trust your wife any more -- if she's willing to do this to you now, imagine how intransigent she'll become when she's receiving results she wants. No in person meetings without a recording. No calls without a recording, if you can help it. If you have anything that isn't recorded, write up a summary after the fact and share it via email.

Stay as involved in your children's lives as possible. Show up to every event you can. Talk to their teachers.

It sounds like you know more about this than I do, I just learned the name of these messed up games. I took a Silver Bullet at the end of May. It is surreal, the person I loved and supported was secretly my greatest enemy. With that said, I took a deal that keeps a bullshit PTO for my wife, but removes the kids from that order. But our divorce hasn't happened yet, so she'll probably get worse.

My advice is this get your passport and leave America while you still can and start over in a new country your a teacher so you can figure out what country would best serve your lifestyle

Will let you know on July 1 after the GAL presents his recommendation. The GAL feels like the best bet to share your side, use witnesses, share things that might not be court admissible, etc. it’s horrible and lasting way longer than I thought. I’m 3 months in and have seen my kids for <40 hours total. But, you can beat it. We all can.

It takes discipline, strategy and money. Judges know the majority of plaintiffs claims are bs, but they need evidence, so work on setting her up so she hangs herself in court, then they will move to your side.

I am grateful that my ex physically assaulted me early in the process, breaking my nose and giving me a concussion (I was lying down in bed and half asleep at 7am). and I had proof to show a court. Plus my kids were old enough to tell the court how their mother would slap them across the face when too mouthy.

So she knew she couldn’t go that path.

Mine tried and was unsuccessful. But what she was able to do over time is alienate the kids from me. It took her a long time but the kids just checked out but need a parent so they pick one. Best advice is stay calm don’t react to anything and don’t respond or communicate except for necessary things about the kids.

Consider yourself somewhat lucky - you're getting the kids removed from the PO and it is only going to last 6 months.

My wife got a 2 year PO and it can be renewed. There was no abuse, violence, or even threats of violence. She used my mental illness crisis to say I was acting erratically and she was in fear of her life.

I have not seen my kids in person in 8 months. She only wants to allow supervised visitation I can't afford now. I asked if a family member could be the supervisor in a public place so I can do a fun activity with my young children. She said she only will allow a neutral third party so said that visitation would not be allowed. She wants sole custody too. I don't know how much longer I can keep going without being able to hug and kiss my kids. They barely want to talk to me during video visits. This is so unfair.

Well bud, join the club. 1. 50% of all marriages end in divorce. 2nd marriages have 60% divorce rate and 3rd marriages 70% divorce rate. 2. 90% of all divorces initiated by the women. • Child support, Alimony, your pension + retirement savings, government support + housing incentivizes them leaving you. 3. 90% of custody awarded to mothers. 4. False allegations of abuse are prevalent in family courts. • You will be called abusive in order to stress you out so you give in to their unjust demands.

What to do now?

Settle your case ASAP. • The leeches (Judges, Lawyers, Therapists, Legal system will want to bleed you dry by leveraging your kids against you) The system gets paid by you fighting for you children.
Find a hobby.
Focus on your career/start a side hustle/Make more money.
Hit the gym daily.
Stay away from SINGLE moms at ALL costs and anyone who claims their ex was abusive. Do NOT raise another man’s child. You may end up being on the hook financially (Child support) for their kid if you leave.
Travel once a year.
Read books like No More Mr. nice guy
Open up the New Testament and start reading daily + listen to Charles Stanely on YouTube. • Learn to forgive your ex. This will set you emotionally and mentally free so you can begin enjoying life once again.

Mine did the same. It’s an effective tactic to get you stressed.

Worst experience of my life but the judge saw right through her claims. She got so mad in court the judge had to tell the lawyer to calm her down. That helped a lot. Just stay calm and ride it out.

My STBX made a ton of accusations against me. Tons of false child abuse claims. Medical neglect, etc. It was in a child protective order and during our first hearing, the judge gave me supervised parent time, 2 hours a week. After those two weeks of supervised time, we had our evidentiary hearing. My lawyer was able to present medical evidence showing no abuse, pictures of the children without bruises with meta data during the timeline My STBX specified. Oh, and I had a child protection services case opened up against me that ended up closing as completely unfounded. The judge dismissed the protective order and I was able to have 50/50 with my kids. Wild ride.

yeah, she alienated our kids and claimed abuse in almost every possible way. couldnt see my kids for months and destroyed most of our savings. sat through accusations in court for hours and refused crappy offers, but had a good judge who saw through it.

I have exactly same situation, it happened 2 years ago were already divorced and she keep renewing protection orders. Her accisations were way more dramatic than in your case but very first hearing judge granted her protection order but also allowed me to have overnight custody every other weekend and on top of thay after the divorce finalized I got half of all school breaks and 2 week uninterrupted vacation time per year with my child. Im so sorry you have to go through this and supervised visitations are just unbeleivable. I hope you get to have your kids soon. Good luck.

yes, do you have good council? i beat my made up protection order and got 50/50 after two years of continuous litigation and $75,000 in attorney fees from the most awful woman i have ever heard of.
