My lawyer is writing up a divorce agreement. I said that i want split custody and gave her all of the financial information.

I will be covering all expenses for our daughter. All daycare and all medical. And yet the agreement says that i will still need to pay my ex $475 per month for child support?

Is this common? It seems unfair. I make $75k and she makes $16/hour, so there's a significant gap. Does that by itself mean i have to give her money?

I have no problem supporting my daughter, but my STBXW will take the money for other things. Over 4 years, she has drained all my accounts and credit. All said and told, she's cost me more than $100,000 more than had she been working and not careless with spending and everything. Im not keen on giving the person who's ruined my retirement more money.
