RP will tell you that emotions are irrational. This is not the case. Humans are emotional beings, that's our STRENGTH, to feel empathy for others and to work together. To downright dismiss all emotion is IRRATIONAL.

Seriously though, it's an interesting perspective, but I think there's some misunderstandings there.

To some extent yes, trying to apply logic to everything - especially things like dating and relationships and generally understanding other people - is a fruitless effort. Humans are not purely logical, and desire is one of the least logical aspects of our behaviour.

But you can also apply some logic to all of this, if you stop thinking of it like a uniform system and think of everything in a more organic state. Simply put, once you acknowledge that women are not some hive mind who all think the same and want the same thing, you can start to recognise that redpill is bullshit, and the logical way to understand women is to, you know, talk to them? And recognise them as humans who have entire minds of their own? That's logical.

And once you start actually listening to women instead of listening to some manipulative man telling you on behalf of women, you can in fact understand what they want. Women want a man who's nice to be around and who's company they enjoy and who they feel safe with? Absolutely nothing about that is shocking. Some women value a man who can provide her with material wealth, but some women value a man who demonstrates emotional intelligence more than any sort of financial wealth? Again, not shocking to discover that different women have different desires. It's all very logical to recognise that there is fact is not a very logical pattern to this.

And yes, it is helpful and healthy to learn to look in and understand your own emotions. That doesn't have to be spiritual mystic whatever. It's just a simple practice of taking care of your mental health. And yes the red pill does some horrible things like enforcing the idea that men shouldn't be emotional, and thus the idea of analysing and experiencing your emotions fully will seem alien when you've gone too far down the red pill pipeline. But you're a human, and humans are emotional. Both men and women. In fact I don't even buy into the idea that "women are emotional and men are logical" fallacy. We're all emotional AND logical, in different situations and to different measures. Women can be engineers and men can be poets. But when you're taught this idea that you - as a man - must be logical about everything including sex and social status and whatever else, you just end up blocking off this very vital part of yourself which is your emotional capacity. When you let that go, you actually get to feel something and it's fucking magical.

Talk to women (not trying to date them, and not only in the appropriate demographics for you to date) and discover the not so shocking fact that they're individuals who prefer different things in a man (among those who even want one). One wants a provider who also enjoys kids for family life. One finds ambition attractive. One has their own career and just wants someone supportive when they have to run off to dig up dinosaurs in Antarctica, who finds that fascinating. One is athletic or outdoorsy or loves to travel and wants a partner in that. One has a religious background that's the most important to her. None of these women would want the other's dream man.

There's no top 1% - it's not a simple metric like income or net worth or even pure attractiveness.

If anything, truly “understanding” is the opposite to redpill, and someone with proper education and understanding of social/cultural dynamics would not fall for the lies of the redpill.

For example: red pill relies on its followers to NOT have a good understanding of statistics, research methodology, psychology, biology, neurophysiology, sociology, and anthropology, business/marketing/finance.

Accredited professionals who are experts in these fields have more “understanding” of humans, relationships, and the world around them compared to random redpill gurus who sit in front of a camera all day and have never earned a degree in the fields they pretend to have secret information about. None of the experts in the fields I mention support redpill ideologies. So, by seeking out RELIABLE SOURCES, you can have true understanding which is a good thing. Knowledge is power, and redpill discourages it’s followers from finding real knowledge based on real expert opinions.

In fact, redpill has been tied to an alt-right pipeline for young men. So, young men tried seeking out “understanding” about dating/women, they found UNRELIABLE sources through redpill, and have now been duped to subscribing to the beliefs of an extremist political ideology whether they are aware of it or not under the guise of redpill.

The enemy is wanting simple, easy answers to incredibly complex problems and believing that "understanding" is a one-time flip of a switch rather than a lifelong process of growth. Just calling something "logical" or "rational" doesn't make it so.

Looking for truth is about as old as time. That's a commendable direction to take. Always as been.

RP contains some truth (with intent) and that's where people get confused. A kernel of truth doesn't make the entire thing true.

The people they get annoyed at exist. But RP then over-generalises and deliberately reaches convenient conclusions.

It's really quite easy to distinguish an ideologue from a truth seeker. The latter will always be interested in reasonable evidence to the contrary of what they think is true. The former will seek to burn you at the stake.

Either figuratively or literally.

The minute you actually reach some level of understanding you'll realise that RP is nonsense. Believeing in red pill means you cant be spiritual (from purely my life experience) because its a doctrine at odds with the greater sense of connection spirituality can bring you.
