As an incel, there is something i quite get about why the redpill is popular especially with guys who are incels and that's because for a lot of us we need something practical to go with. Women are taught practical advice since birth about how to attract a man so they know men like good looks so they work on that. Men on the other hand are lied to since birth that women like personality but we also witness women falling for good looking chad type of men with lots of money and social status. The advice many of us receive is garbage and maybe neurotypical people can follow through with it and find some success, but for a lot of us we just can't. Like we get told that we need confidence but what is it? How does one gain it? These things are never expalined. I guess the concept of leaving dating up to chance for men without having control in their dating life feels unacceptable to me.

Another thing is that looks can be measured but how can you measure personality? If a guy has a shitty personality that doesn't attract women then what kind of personality should he attempt to adopt? What is frustrating about it is we get told "women aren't machines that you put coin into and expect a result" but women know that how men work. Getting more attractive = more men and you see that all the time with weight loss stroies of women, but for men they lose weight and they see no difference with how women treat them (maybe that's just my case).

when men attempt to try to understand how women work we get told it's wrong and misogynistic and i wonder why. Now that i am college and live in a dorm the guys who tend to get girls are the ones you can explain via redpill and you'd find these traits to be universal and they tend to be high social status with large social circles and also into "normie" things, have a lot of money or are attractive. I feel like "just be a good person" type of advice only works when it comes to teenage love but since that boat has sailed, a lot women are expecting different things like your social status, money and your passion. Dating becomes kinda transactional after a certain age for men and that's where the concept of "marketplace" come into play which a lot of people here tend to disagree with. Now, not all dating is like that and there are wholesome things that happen when couples meet through doing what they love or some nerdy obese guys get to know another girl through dnd groups but i feel like relying on these things to happen will just make me a virgin in my 30s. I am already in my 20s and feel like i missed out on so much things.

Do you guys think the redpill will work for men like me? Are you against the redpill because it has misogynistic views or because it doesn't work? i don't care about which views i adopt anymore tbh because i just want a postive outcome for once.
