Calling you ALOOF because you don’t want to sext with a stranger 😂

I’m surprised he KNOWS the word aloof!
[–]sewer_mermaidFDS Newbie11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He hasn’t used it correctly to be fair 🤣

"you won't engage with me sexually or reassure me about my dick? beepboop, goodbye f-e-m-a-l-e"

I had a guy ask me to his house to play board games as a first date. When I told him I was not comfortable doing that and we could play board games at a cafe instead, he retaliated similarly as this guy. Said something like:
"Wow I don't know what happened in your life to make you not trust people but I see we are in different places."

I do love when they try to act holier than thou when their ideas are rejected.
[–]UKFeminst38FDS Newbie45 points46 points47 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's Typecasting. They want you to respond with, "Oh no, I'm not like that, let me prove how much I'm not like that/how nothing has happened to me by doing by what you want."
It's a concept heavily discussed in, "The Gift of Fear," and a great way to identify a potentially dangerous man.

I hate how he implies you're damaged and crazy for having common sense. What a psycho. Sorry.
[–]FemmeFirstThrowaway Account13 points14 points15 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's what I was thinking !

Yeah, and he is in the place of not having to be fearful for his safety when setting up a date. Must be nice!
We don't owe our trust to complete strangers!
And they play dumb, like they haven't watched videos and talked to friends. They know how men treat women!
[–]pinkyberriesFDS Disciple7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
They expect us to trust them and say "Not all men" but when we do get assaulted they blame it on us and ask why we went to a stranger's house...OK.
[–]CyanCayenneFDS Newbie5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely. They really are not very logical.

It's not what's happened in her life it's what's happened to end the lives of literally millions of women in history so like what now bitch.
[–]extraacct1234Ruthless Strategist59 points60 points61 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Probably he was a rapist, he was definitely looking to coerce you.
[–]jewdy09Pickmeisha™️24 points25 points26 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Either a rapist, or more likely simply one of those assholes who has no idea that unless everyone is enthusiastically consenting, it’s not consensual. He is probably also one of those people who upon hearing of assault accusations immediately asks about what she was wearing, drinking, or doing in X place and thinks her sexual history is relevant to the man’s defense.
Same dude who finds it suspect when a woman waits until a man who assaulted her is in the public eye and/or others have come forward to call out his crimes. Sure, Christine Blasey-Ford did it to get attention...she hasn’t been back to work since the hearings and has moved house multiple times because of the death threats she has gotten from Kavanaugh stans. I suppose she should have come forward with her accusations and have every aspect of her life and character scrutinized and dragged through the mud when she was a traumatized teenager.
When men do shitty things to women and the woman reasonably just wants to forget about it, those men face no consequences and have come to expect women to keep silent about their shitty behavior. That, coupled with the reality that sexual assault cases usually come down to his word against yours, men know they can get away with doing almost anything they want to a woman. If you go to the house of a strange man you met on OLD and he assaults you without leaving evidence of severe violence, that is probably already enough reasonable doubt to acquit him right there.
Men who object to a woman who requires meeting in public are irredeemable. At the very least, he is low effort and your comfortable is not his priority. Nope. Nope. Nope. There is nothing for you there.
[–]UKFeminst38FDS Newbie12 points13 points14 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Indeed we are. We're women, and as such have to consider where we go, who we meet, what we wear, whether we drink etc, etc, etc, lest we be blamed for our assault. He, as a man, does not. The fact he doesn't understand that is enough reason to leave well alone.
Totally.
[–][deleted] 54 points55 points56 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He couldve just responded "fair enough" same as you did, but wow what a piece of shit, doesnt even want a conversation unless it will include sex/your sexual details. God theyre fucking sickening, trash is so smelly.
[–]DelicateDreamFDS Disciple53 points54 points55 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This tactic is old. They used to shame women by calling them “frigid” when they didn’t want bad, anticlimactic sex with an unattractive man. And now they use it for any woman who doesn’t want to netflix and chill as a “first date”.
[–]cassabell1894FDS Apprentice23 points24 points25 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. And then if the woman does get sexual with them the woman is "easy".
[–]Ms_TillyRuthless Strategist128 points129 points130 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Wow! Trash took itself out. He tried to disguise wanting just a hook up or sexual attention via messaging into him being better than you. Yeah y'all aren't in the same place at all. You have self respect and he's a slimy POS.
[–]PandaLLCFDS Newbie39 points40 points41 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Lol, men acting like a woman's career is important only when it suits them and can be used as an excuse.
aloof to the physical part... aloof... just go.
[–]CyanCayenneFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He is aloof to the mental part!
[–]cassabell1894FDS Apprentice38 points39 points40 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So many of them use the guise that they are sex positive and want a women who expresses themselves sexually, using words like "too aloof" and such when they don't get sucked into their bullshit. In reality they just want an easy lay. Pathetic.

He thinks he's so mature I- 😭😭🤣
[–][deleted] 95 points96 points97 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What a sadly transparent negging attempt that was 😂
[–]itsallsoconfusingFDS Newbie24 points25 points26 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I had a guy get all upset because I looked him up before the first date. He was like, your ex really did a number on you, you think you’re not safe a public place like a coffee shop. Looking someone up is so inappropriate!
Me: mouth wide open!
Awesome! I think a copy of a photo ID and a background check should be standard protocol before advancing to a second date!
[–]CuriousCatNYC777Ruthless Strategist24 points25 points26 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah... Shirtless profile pic gives away intent unfortunately.
[–]pinkyberriesFDS Disciple65 points66 points67 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ah, yes. One of the "I'm looking for a relationship" that only says it just to have a bigger dating-pool while actually wanting a hookup/FWB type of man.
Love when the trash takes itself out <3

Did somebody buy Jeremy a Thesaurus for Christmas? Lots if words for - I know you're not going to shag me.
He's so enlightened. What an absolute catch.

I love how he's trying to play it as he's just so much more mature than you because you won't sext him LOL
