Also, I find people having similar values to mine attractive. I also like it when people (sophisticatedly and intelligently) challenge me and my views.* Maybe ask yourself why you find it rather unattractive? Would actually thinking about it make you doubt whether you're as liberal as you want to believe?

*By challenging my views, I don't mean stuff like "are women human or not", "do women deserve rights" or "do gender and sexual minorities deserve to live".

This is nit-picky but it drives me mad when folks think liberal is the end of the spectrum, the leftmost option. It shows they don't know a damn thing past what they learned in high school and ironically is a classic example of colonial thinking.

Liberal means you still support capitalism. In high school in the US they tell you there are two options: liberal and conservative, aka democrat and republican. You maybe learn about socialism and communism but of course in the context of the cold war unless you get lucky and get a cool teacher. And even then, it's not most of the curriculum.

This is also unique to the US in a way because liberal only has this meaning here. Everywhere else it generally means pro-capitalism. "Leftist" is the correct term for a non-liberal left-leaning person such as socialists, communists, etc.

The woman in this profile is likely not a liberal and the OP of this post is likely "not into politics" but votes blue cause his parents do.

Also this isn't my field of expertise so I might be wrong about stuff, feel free to correct me

So not really a comment about the man but the actual content. What exactly does it mean by internalized colonialism? Internalized white supremacy I get, but I’m not sure I understand what colonialism mean in this context. I only ever thought of it as a way to describe a thing that happens/ has happened. When I google it I only get results for “internal colonialism” which isn’t on an individual level. Is it a way of saying privilege one has as a benefit of being part of the group that did the colonizing?

I personally feel as though most people are actually pretty reasonable and moderate, but anyone who is this extreme, on either side, is nothing but a negative force who, unless you’re a SJW or a Qtard, should probably be avoided. Politics, in general, I’m beginning to look at as theatrics. The matrix is more like a documentary, honestly.
