Does anyone else eyeroll when they see this? Yes sure, as if a woman calmly sitting her partner down and explaining the relationship problems would magically make the man understand, the problem will be solved and the rest would be happily ever after.

Bull Fucking Shit. I’ve tried this. I’ve had a father who developed a habit of snarling and swearing in his older years even when the conversation could be something about eating breakfast. I carefully told him he should not swear so much. How did he react? By swearing and yelling at me. No apologies later. I’ve given up. Let him stew in his negativity and wonder why he has no friends- that’s probably how he will go to his grave.

I am a calm person, but whenever I ‘communicated’ to a partner/acquaintance of a issue I have with them? VERY few of them acknowledge it. I’d say 1-5%. Most would react with indignation, anger, denial, or try to turn the conversation against me, how it’s AcTuaLlY my fault.

So when it comes to dating? I don’t bother. I don’t do this ComMuniCatiON bullshit because we either get along or not. If we don’t get along? Get out of my life, block, no regrets. I’m not going to waste my time and energy trying to change you.

It’s served me well. My current partner understands this, and is careful and considerate. I am too with him, but I’ve made it very clear if he adds negativity to my life, I’ll break it off without regrets.

So ladies, it’s not your job to CoMmUniCate. It’s not your job to play therapist, the pacifist when the other party has no interest . Cut them out of your life if possible, go low/no contact. Go live your life.
