Does he have female role models that AREN'T his mother?

It's a bit of a cliche to hear, "How he treats his mother is how he will treat you."

No... he (ideally) doesn't want to fuck his mother. Also, his mother... mothered him. You do not want to be compared to her.

There are "woke" men who will wax poetic about how amazing their mother is, how strong she is, how badass she is.

But are there any other women he feels this way about? Women who would never mother him or fuck him?

It's natural for women to have male role models in a patriarchy. With so much media portraying the complexities of men, often girls/women will identify themselves in a male character or role model. I know I used to.

But it's less natural for men to have women he appreciates in their own right, without any regard to what she does for him.

Think about your role models. Some of mine are Shonda Rhimes, Rene Denfield, Andrea Dworkin.

I will never meet any of these women. They will never do anything for me as an individual. They are amazing women in their own right.

Of course, the women he looks up to don't have to be feminist. Does he look up to female engineers, developers, doctors, politicians, artists, actors?

I've truly never met a (straight) man who lauds another woman who isn't his mother, or older sister, or some other family member who was maternal to them.
