eek I LOVED her in this series. And also how they didn't try to make her "perfect and having it all", but a woman who wanted what she wanted and how the rest of her society cussed at her for that.

She's also right on a biological level - the basic template for any human fetus is female. Male fetuses will eventually start developing differently due to testosterone.

Yes this really stood out to me, the rad fem/fds ideology in this show. I was blown away, never heard a female protagonist character talk like this!

She's a wonderfully written character and Gillian Anderson brought her to life brilliantly. Every male friend of mine that has seen the show has loved her character too. I think it's because most of my male friends are HVM :)
