I used to make really nice, elaborate lunches for a former boyfriend, and instead of eating them he would go to the mall across from his work and eat fast food.

I have trouble finishing my leftovers (nothing against them and I do eat them usually, but I reeeeeeeally like variety in my diet and I don’t like eating the same thing over and over again). It’s probably the single habit my husband despises about me - I am known to cook up a whole new meal to avoid leftover lasagna because I didn’t feel like it.

but man, I’m not beyond frozen food. that’s ridiculous.

Not sure how I feel about this because I’d rather go hungry for a meal or two than eat leftovers. I don’t think I’m too good for them... I just don’t like them. But I cook my own food and so my solution is just to cook myself individual meals rather than meal prep or bulk. Anyone else??

This is why living together before marriage is something I support. She didn't learn this until they lived together. Being engaged should be a test run to find out whether those annoying everyday quirks are acceptable.
