As someone who experienced unexplainable hairloss a little while back- I was RELENTLESS in pursuit to recover/cover up. I had weaves as soon as I realised that the loss isn't slowing down, I went to specialists in dermatology, pulmonology (i've got allergies), my gyno and my gp, did blood tests, took supplements and applied ointments. I was covering a half inch bald spot at the back of my head with an eyeshadow so it's not visible to anyone. And I was completely out of the dating pool until I recovered and would only open up about my sorrows to the closest people. I've got no sympathy for whiny balding men that do jack shit about their situation.

Relevant--went to a nice mall for lunch with my male coworkers and while there I bought some fancy shampoo, set it to the side. No one remarked on it, except, you guessed it: the balding one.

Just had to make some snarky comment about my stealing one of the soap dispensers in the restroom and I'm like, "Shut the hell up, you're just jealous of my hairline."

Hey guys, need some advice here. My HVM (confirmed, 7 years) is 24 and has a very high stress job, bald genetics (dad has it bad, brother slightly older wears a hairpiece), and is now balding (beginning signs only on back/top of head, not very noticeable yet) and he is concerned and willing to take pills for it. I have read that the pills can cause issues with testosterone, libido, etc. I’d be perfectly ok with it if he shaved his head once it starts to look bad. I don’t take any kind of BC so it’s not like it’s a double standard. What do you guys think? Are there other options to consider or is it ok for HVM to be bald?

I get what she's saying but I think she should have focused more on the reasons for early balding and how to correct those. Toupees and transplants and red lights and all that are just masking the symptoms of a more serious issue. Diet and lifestyle need to be examined. Blood work done. FIX the issue, don't mask it.

There is an epidemic of early balding happening in men. It's only this last generation or two that seem to have this issue on such a wide scale. It HAS to be diet and lifestyle factors. Yes, our foods have more shit in them today so that just means making better choices and taking more responsibility for what you consume. The same goes for most people actually. Most chronic health problems these days are a result of poor diet and lifestyle choices. Too much sugar and processed crap and lazy lifestyles = health problems. And that is most of our population now.

*I'm not perfect and can do better. I'm just not ignorant to my own plight is all I'm saying.
