Yeah this is weird af. When I was more social and had more male friends, I was totally chatty with their SOs. If they’re dating a friend, they were a friend of mine by extension. The friend seems like she’s guarding the boyfriend and doesn’t want to acknowledge that the girlfriend is part of his life now.

Even just the intimacy between her boyfriend and another woman...it’s bizarre. The other woman obviously has some kind of tie with her boyfriend.

I would not have tried this hard (or at all really) with a partner’s friends/family. If they don’t treat me well and he knows it...She was being too nice. “Killing people with kindness” is not a great strategy.

I think they are together, the bf and the bf's friend. I doesn't make sense to call your friend to tell him your gf is texting me. Looks like they are having an affair, that is why she is having problems with her husband and she doesn't want to have friendship with the girl becaues it's easier if you are a cheater

I think the GF is being annoying in RL for continually trying with someone who doesn’t want to be her friend and annoying for beating around the bush in this post.

Seems like she’s doing this BECAUSE deep down she thinks something is going on, in which case she needs to address it or leave him.

If not, I think it is weird and thirsty how she keeps trying with someone who is rejecting her.

My read is the “friend” is getting embarrassed and or cheated on by her baby daddy and is terrified the gf who she has mutual friends is being told her embarrassing personal relationship info she tells the bf.
