Hello ladies! I'd like your insight on something. (Not sure if this is properly flaired. I'm new here.)

I have two acquaintances from high school that are models now. Around them, men act as if they were "ugly duckling to swan" cases. The thing is, they aren't: They were always very pretty. Of course, many times it is an attempt to neg them. That's what I assumed it was 100% of the time, but I found sometimes the surprise is genuine.

My friends and I receive similar reactions as well sometimes, and that baffles me. Why? Because we all look basically the same we used to. The only possible difference is the way we dress. Sometimes not even that.

Back in high school, the models were sporty-tomboys. My friend dressed modestly because of her religion, and I was a bookish tomgirl. We had different personalities, interests and body types. But we had one thing in common: for different reasons, we weren't dressing for boys.

Don't they notice bone structure, silhouette, features, etc? Is that why they hate makeup because they believe it? If superman existed, would they believe Clark Kent is a different guy? (LOL)

My theory is most men only see sexual availability signals and that distracts them from actual beauty. I suspect this is exacerbated by porn. It creates so much "noise" that they can't see women clearly.

Anyway, if horniness makes most men "blind" that'd be another confirmation that we are supposed to be"quality control" of the species. On the contrary, the few HVM I know are incredibly attentive to visual details and remember them easily.

What do you think? Are most men that visually dumb?!

PS 1: I think we all humans are visual creatures, I don't endorse "women don't care about looks" at all.

PS2: Whenever women are surprised about a "duckling to swan" man the guy did a massive weight loss or muscle gain, or his face changed a lot after puberty. You know, a real transformation.

PS3: I think this is also the reason many femcels are convinced they are ugly. I'm not into "everybody is beautiful BS" but probably many are actually more attractive that they believe.
