I dated this guy for nearly three years when he decided he could do better and dumped me. There has been no contact for three years. He emailed me this past April expressing that he’s been thinking of me and wanted to talk. I did not reply until my therapist suggested I reply with a short note stating I was not interested so that he would not pursue further contact thinking I did not get his email. Other than this, there has been no contact for three years. I blocked his phone and email after my reply.

I have been dating my current guy for nearly a year and I am over the moon happy with my life. Even if I was not involved with someone I would not be interested in my ex. Ex for a reason. Especially when he says he thinks he can do better.

This dude sent me a box of flowers Friday with a note saying he has been thinking “very carefully” about me and I am “worth fighting for”. Bitch please. It was so awkward and uncomfortable getting these while my current guy was present. I immediately took them to the outside trash and have absolutely no desire to contact him. My concern is he’s going to continue to try to reach out and cause issues with my new guy.

Update: I spoke with an officer who said to keep record of these contacts and to file for a PO if he contacts me again.
