I don’t understand the chart. Can someone elaborate for me? Does it mean during the dating period you invest 10% and he invest 90% or just that you put in 10% effort and it not have to do with his investment? Thanks in advance.

Can someone explain what you would consider 10% invested vs. 65% invested emotionally? I’m curious as to what you ladies think those percentages look like in action.

I'm in a LTR, and I think COVID lockdown has definitely helped me invest more in myself rather than my bf. I was spending WAY too much time/energy on him that I neglected myself. Now, I've been really working on my career, working out and picking up more side jobs/ hobbies to keep busy. Took me a super long time to realize that having a man doesn't mean your life revolves around him. FDS definitely keeps that as a reminder for me

I have a problem with the two middle categories. The level of investment should there be a lot lower. The “long term” part is problematic- you shouldn’t let a dating relationship drag on long term without a real commitment aka an engagement. Arguably the “long term cohabitation“ stage shouldn’t exist at all.
