Nudes fall under the category "Anything you say or do can and will be used against you"! It's important therefore to not give men ammunition to use against us!

Men who ask or insist for nudes do so for their own benefit and self-serving purposes! He doesn't need nudes, it's about power and control! Don't set up yourself for failure! You can't trust men with such personal and sensitive information!

Back in the Tumblr days, I got a bunch of flack for suggesting that the only way to not have your nudes leaked was to just not send any period. I still stand by that. There’s absolutely no benefit for you to send nudes because at worst they’ll be leaked and at best you’ll get no reaction. Pointless in every way.

I was friends with this guy once and legit he told me he has tons of nudes he got from different women and still has sex videos of his ex who hates him that he watches all the time. He posted veiled threats about leaking them on social media bc she dumped him. Seriously please please never send nudes or let someone film you having sex with them. You never really know a guy until you go through a breakup with them. It was enough for me to see that play out to be like Never ever would I ever do that for anyone.

These people are just gross, both men and women. It's a good reminder not to associate with anyone who sends, receives, or asks for nudes. So much horror in that thread. Guilt tripping partners after sending unsolicited pics, men blaming women for not giving them sex, women saying they suffer for missing their husband too much during the day, people giving each other tips on how to manipulate someone into sending nudes. They all sound like a bunch of dependent adult-babies.

How are you having dudes not respond to your nudes and you’re still talking to them? I would be so humiliated and that would be my wake up call. I’m one of those idiots that has a hard time letting go even if the relationship is dead but some situations are so embarrassing you’re forced to move on. This is one of those.

Happily married woman here. Husband has never, ever asked me for nudes, and I never send them. If he wants to see me naked, he knows exactly what to do!

Seeing me naked is an enormous privilege. He has to work for it, he has to earn it, he has to deserve it.

Never accept some lazy, low-effort attempt to access your body. Asking for nudes is the digital equivalent to demanding sex with no foreplay. It is utterly substandard behavior that needs to be weeded out immediately.
