Like my friend's loser ex-boyfriend called me a slut because several guys were asking me on dates. None of which I even accepted. Even things random ass men do can make you a whore!

Their words are meant to oppress and control women's behavior, but ultimately completely meaningless. I was once called a slut and a prude in the same sentence, ffs.

My father did this when I was 14. He knew I was hanging out with a boy and went off, calling me a slut and a whore. I hadn’t even kissed this guy, and remember finding it so insulting and weird that my father would flip to that narrative. I knew even then that it was his own insecurity and feelings towards women being projected on me, but also felt like absolute shit for being shamed over my burgeoning sexuality at that time. It also made me feel like I was a commodity that my father felt he had some kind of jurisdiction over.

They also are the type to buy sex so they can degrade and control a women. If a man is calling you a whore he also is going to physically abuse you. Verbal abuse leads to physical abuse.
