A million dollars a month to portray child sexual abuse. I’m enraged. I’m disgusted. I’m grieved. As much as I’m disgusted by how men sexualize her image, and her purposeful cultivation of that image, I can’t help but feel sorry for her.

She has a lot of money but at what cost? Is that going to undo the trauma she’s going to experience in porn?

Before you all start defending and feeling bad for Belle Delphine, I will inform you as to why she is a bad person and why no one should feel bad for her. In the beginning of her days, she was only posting cosplay photos, nothing sexual. However, she was stealing other girls nudes online and selling them as her own for her own profit. She was also underage while doing this. By the time she hit 18, she started to do softcore prn and would shame sex workers that did prn. Belle said she would never stoop to that level. To add onto this she has cheated on one of her ex’s! All of this she does for money, to gain a profit, and she doesn’t care about victims of abuse at all. She is a very controversial person, let’s not blindly show empathy.

I will forever remain skeptical of any reports about how much money any of these girls are making, because there is a very strong vested interest to push the narrative that sex work is easy and extremely lucrative. I'm sure the industry is making a ton off of her, but the amounts in this article feel inflated.

The real goldmine is all of its new hopeful "stars". Tens of thousands of underaged girls are looking at this girl and others, seeing the legitimization of their exploitation in mainstream media, and thinking that they too can be rich and cute just like her one day... and this is music to the sex trafficking industry's ears.

I feel for her but she is damaging so many people so I also am disgusted with her. She dropped out of high school at 14 and she is dumb as rocks. I feel bad that her family disowned her. It's such a tough situation because I'm sure (hopefully) her family talked with her against it but when you're a teenager you think you know everything.

The line for acceptability is now gone. Like the article suggests, porn permeates everything online. Not only can we not really properly protect kids from coming across it while using the internet, it’s shoved into your face sooner or later if you use social media. I’m glad I deleted my Instagram account over the summer. My Facebook is deactivated. I don’t even feel like LinkedIn is safe anymore. Between this article and the horrors of DeepFake, where is there left to hide? We are consumed by porn zombies whether we consent to it or not, and they keep requiring more and more depravity, which the market grants, one way or another.
