Unfortunately it is what is. Men leave their wife in the face of cancer. But also their kids.. I remember when my small cousin had cancer and I visited him at the kids hospital. There were almost only women there. The nurses told me that was because men often left their families when kids were heavily sick

Why are there this amount of inhumane toxic men, I am sure there are toxic women too but it's not as common. And when I see "nice guys" I don't see "nice girls" who feel entitled as the nice guys. But there are pickmesh girl who would provide lots of service, as money, love, etc. Like why are women always giving and men taking its just so weird to me.

I went on an OLD date with a guy who was a widower. Both in our late 40’s at that time.

After the date, I figured out that his wife of 20+ years had died in November. He created his OLD profile in December. I went for dinner with him in January. I know that grief manifests in different ways, but he seemed happy as a clam. Reminded me of a kid in a candy store. I didn’t go on another date.
