He never had trouble paying it and would always offer. Miss me with that bullshit, if a man hesitates to pay for our dates, I am out.

I think guys are more shocked when women don't pull out their cards and fight over the bill. Most men are LV and the will order a tonne of food to get you to split or pay for them.

My brother said he stopped dating for a while because every girl he went on a date with would immediate whip out their credit and most of the time insist on footing the bill to pROvE tHeY wEre a StRoNg InDePeNdEnT wOmAn. He's in his early 20s and found this behaviour very cringy. I know a HVM who was telling me he was excited to go on a date. When I asked him about the date the next day, he said it didn't go well because she footed a whole bill for drinks, food, entertainment,everything. It was a huge bill and she had to have sent 300-400 dollars. He was confused by it and he didn't directly say this but it definitely killed his attraction to her. He was so excited to go out with her before she fought for the bill and was hellbent on paying. I will admit, in my Pickmeisha days I paid and split bills to prove that I was a strong independent women. I thought I'd impress men. I'm cringing so hard remembering all the pickme nonsense I did.

I’m a waitress in a pub/sports bar and I always set the check down in front of the man. It works most of the time! It’s also a good idea to take the woman’s order first and serve her first.

It’s sooo cringe when women do this. I have a coworker who specifically says she pays or splits to assert her independence. The men we want to date definitely do not find it sexy when we do this. It just screams doormat.

I was a server at a popular date destination and it always got awkward when it came time to bring the bill during meals. I put it in the middle and took the first card that was given to me, would make a little joke like “ope sorry he/she/they were too quick on the draw! Better luck next time” and go handle the transaction. It is not my responsibility to impose my standards of courtship on other people. Maybe someone wants to pay for a meal to express gratitude? Or they know the other person is struggling financially and don’t want to make a big deal about it? There’s lots of reasons why someone wants to pay and it’s not an employee’s place to impose their beliefs on their customers.
