Let's say his ex cheated, it wasn't him so he's not projecting and he's scarred. Then I wonder why he's looking for a date in the first place. Sounds pretty bitter to say you're "looking for a girl that doesn't cheat" Maybe heal a bit more before you go and scar others.

I would think: "so you are telling me that you want...a normal woman?" Because woman cheating is really not that common. If we say this about a guy, then we are usually spot on. I would think about the guy that he either never dated and listenes only about women from his bitter friends, or that he's delusional.

He will use the fact that his ex cheated on him (if it’s even true) as an excuse for shitty behavior... like not wanting to commit, running away from issues instead of communicating cause he’s “scared”... feeling the need to control you, who you hang out with, what you wear, etc.
