Trust me, it’s not a compliment. It’s the equivalent of “you’re not like other girls”. In addition, Men (or people) will often call you weird when you don’t act or do what they expect from you. It’s a subtle neg in an attempt to change you, by singling you out.

My advice is for you to stay away from these people who call you weird. The reason they do this is because they’re mad that they can’t get anything from you.

You’re not weird. There’s nothing wrong with you. You’re just like every other human being. Stay strong and never change.
