Typing that in Spanish gets me similar results in Bing.

However when I type it in Google.es (Spain), in Spanish, I get results for both.

Also if you google why are women so, you get "Why Men Find It So Hard to Understand What Women Want" "Why Infidelity Is So Different for Men and Women" as apposed to searching why are men so, you get "Why Are Men So Violent? " "Why Men Will Always Be More Disgusting Than Women" all in the top 3.

Would just note that because of how bings back end is designed it could have a lot more to do with the language used by people searching for those things than anything else. It could be worthwhile to just submit feedback regarding this, noting that the suggestions dont appear to be functioning correctly. From my understanding at least they are sort of responsive typically if there is a legitimate issue.

(For context Ive potentially made market observations for years regarding MSFT's stock that has had a correlation with billions of value creation for them. Admittedly its a little weird I have documentation of that though have the types of issues like some of you are probably aware of and the violations noted on the website re my ex. She sure as anything could pretty much never add value to markets nor add likely even a few mil of value yet at the moment i dont have Microsofts people rushing to defend/protect somebody who has a history of adding more value to them for less than any of their IB's/many of their other counterparties they pay to just try to do that or less.)

I would like to add that another post tried a similar test but with different wording and got a whole different set of results. Alternate Bing Wording . It’s important to do our research and attempt to replicate tests to get a better set of results.

It doesn't necessarily mean they're sexist against men, it could just be they want to avoid unnecessary problems and have reasonably identified feminists as people who it'as best to err on the side of caution with.

If they were falsifying the men's descriptors that'd concern me a lot more, but "The format of "Why are x so..." is going to naturally have negative words to finish. They've just put "women" on the verboten list.

In that case, it's just a confirmation of something we already know, that companies are terrified of feminists.

If we really wanted to make a thing of this, and concentrated our efforts at them, we coud probably get them to remove the autofills for men as well. Or if we couldn't, it'd only because we didn't make them feel threatened enough, rather than any ideological based refusal.

This circlejerk is silly. Nobody is going to type "Why are men/women so" in a search engine unless they're looking for something negative. Predictive algorithms are still the main way search engines auto-fill your request.
