Know who else gets triggered? people like my boyfriend, who suffers PTSD from his Afghanistan tour.

If he were at a convention full of people like himself, where there were set rules to respect the fact he and other PTSD afflicted folk are on edge from sudden noises, I definitely wouldn't make fun of him.
