“Intersectional feminism takes into account the many different ways each woman experiences discrimination.”

Intersectional feminism essentially says that minority women are twice as discriminated against by men (via a mythical patriarchy), than white women are. It’s still very anti-male.

The feminist goal (intersectional or not) to advantage women over men directly opposes the men’s rights goal of equality for men and non discrimination.

It’s kind of like asking if there’s a crossover or commonality between the KKK and Black Lives Matter.

We try, but feminism isn't coming from a place of good faith. They don't genuinely want equality. We do, so efforts at "peace" only go so far.

That said, the NCFM and NOW actually worked together on a lawsuit for the draft in the U.S.

Feminism has not gone bad, it has always been rotten. And don't mistake it for some kind of women's rights movement either, they only care about women's rights for as long as it is convenient, just as they only care about men if/when it's convenient.

I think perhaps it’s not to be found so much in intersectionality or critical justice theories but in liberal models of social justice.

If you approach things from the perspective that we are all individuals and all deserve equality then discussions around how groups are impacted are not the primary issue.

I think it’s the focus on group identities and power relationships that comes from intersectional thinking that is leading to the constant division within society.

It seems inspired by intersectional feminism to me (I could be wrong). However, it won't help my sons get a job. Here, I'm definitely right.

Maybe, these meddling politicians need to realise that a fair society is one in which some people fail - and they may fail in something other than precise, demographically representative proportions. That doesn't give them the excuse to act like the 'Handicapper General', a female role in the book 'Harrison Bergeron' by Kurt Vonnegut.

Modern feminism should be categorized as a separate entity from classic feminism.

First, second, and arguably third wave feminism had clearly stated goals and objective issues that people could argue logically. "God created all men equal, so I as a huMAN, should have equal rights to that of a male." This is why these movements gain popularity as they had an irrefutable argument based on logic and reality.

The problem with modern/intersectional feminism is that because of the adoption of critical theory the very idea of objective reality went out the window, saying that reality is souly subjective making equality an impossibility opting for equity, which by its nature only favors one party over another.

So long as Equity and Critical theroy is the name of the game for 4th wave feminism, there can be no reconciliation between Feminism and Mens rights.

The men's rights movement has many of the same beliefs' as 'liberal feminism'. Unfortunately 'intersectional feminism' is not compatible with this.

As long as feminists use an oppressor/oppressed model of gender relations, I can't see any progress being made.

The answer is no, there is not. Feminism (intersectional or not) is a Feminine Supremacy movement.

Look into the transcripts of the first meetings of the NOW (National Organization for Women), and read the book Occult Feminism for further answers.

This seems like a better discussion for /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates . They tend to be more receptive to discussions about where egalitarianism is the focus. I suspect you are going to find more people on this subreddit that are staunchly opposed to feminism in all forms out of expressions of anger and frustration.

If intersectional feminism was able to actually address men's issues rather than virtue signal to pretend to deal with men's issues, there might be some grounds for discussion. But so far, most of what we see is "men's issues are caused by toxic masculinity, so resolve that and men won't have any issues anymore". And that just blames individual men for society-level problems, and furthers the misandry.

You might want to check r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates, but there's no « middle ground » when it comes to discrimination really. Call yourself an egalitarian if you want, that's what I call myself.

Down on the right collumn there's the r/FeMRADebates sub, actually this might be what you're looking for. I got to visit it a bit more often too, seems nice.

This is the issue you will find here. A lot of us actually are on the left side of the political spectrum on many many issues, and we really would love a place where we can talk to open minded feminists such as yourself. But I am genuinely drawing a blank in mind, as to where exactly we would be able to do that. YouTube censors US like crazy and tiktok is ten times worse. Any online space that becomes even slightly slanted towards mens' POV, it gets labeled a hate group e.g. Rumble or r/MGTOW.

So the answer is,

if you want a space like the one you are asking for, you will have to create it and moderator it yourself.
