As a convicted cocaine dealer, I've been disgusted with how Western legal systems treat child molesters of both sexes. There were men doing 2.5 years for molesting around 100 children that were jailed next to someone doing 8 years for a few ounces of coke. They get parole because they have "a mental health issue" and are out within 8 months, working out to 2.4 days per life ruined.

Oh my god, I know it's obvious, but imagine if this was a 46 year-old man who had raped a 13 year-old girl. There would be uproar, his life would be over, he would be in prison for 25 years and get beaten up, raped etc while he was there, and he would never be able to be a part of society anymore. This is disgusting that she can walk away from this with 2 years probation. Almost as bad as the girl who made up a story about getting raped, admitted to it after the guy had been in prison for 4 years, he got released, and she got a slap on the wrist and a relatively small fine.
