Anyone else noticing that the standard line from feminists is to blame "The Patriarchy," for men's oppression, usually to detract from the idea that feminism can do precisely that?

A typical example:

patriarchy has historically given the most advantages to white, straight, rich, able-bodied cis-men. The fact that cis-men are also severely disadvantaged and limited by this system doesn't counteract that fact.

It wasn't until I came to this subreddit that I saw views and historical narratives that really challenged the ideas that women were not benefactors of patriarchy, that women were more oppressed than men in this system, and that patriarchy was unnatural. Today's narratives would have us believe that patriarchy sprang up for no functional reason but to oppress women. They also seem to take the leap that since patriarchy oppressed men, that means that women couldn't, and feminism doesn't. Is feminism doing a better job of helping men, is it helping men who are least powerful, or is it just asking for more sacrifices from them?

What do you guys make of this?
