When you only compare yourself to high status men – and don't even see low status men as human – is it any wonder that you mistakenly see yourself as a perpetual victim of oppression? Meanwhile, it is vulnerable men who are the ones that truly get left behind by a system that doesn't even know they exist.

Who built the system?

Nobody. We live in a social hirerachy which nobody created this system. This system already existed once humans were born.

Feminists Love the argue that men "created" this social system just because traditionally men seen as "the leader"(which is actually just the result of the social hirerachy)

Well if we go that way. Then I guess we live in a de facto matriachy because traditionally it was woman's role to raise children and teach them their basic values.

This is the first I've really heard or even thought about how females dominate the therapist and psychologists fields. I would really like to see this area covered more here and in more detail. Why is it that professions such as this and teachers do not have diversity quotas? It's proven to be unbalanced and unfair, so why is it that there are no diversity quotas for men in any profession?

We are absolutely falling through the cracks. I don’t need research to tell me that because I work in the industries mentioned. I’ve worked in the education system and the psychology industry. I also worked in nonprofits as well. I was the minority in all of these sectors as a man… overwhelmingly!!! I witnessed firsthand how girls were given preferential treatment for basic things like being selected for field trips in schools by female staff, having confidential “girl groups” after school while the boys’ groups were a joke and overrun by girls just looking to hang around the boys (since they have to be everyone boys are)… boys being discriminated against by nonprofits/schools and treated like shit just for being boys (yelled at on sight by female teachers with any authority for the smallest infractions, while always going easy on the girls. I personally had one girl throw a drink in my face because “feelings” and walk away in a school before. The girl never got any consequences.). I’ve worked around nonprofits who would BAN boys from their social services for small infractions as well. I remember a boy in extreme poverty took the remaining soda home from an event and had the “nerve” to not ask first. So, he was banned from social services permanently by the females in charge. I’ve also seen boys not attend schools for weeks and no one even cared to follow up. Turns out one boy was starving at home and his parents were away. He had no resources and the female guidance counselors never even noticed he was missing. I personally helped several boys graduate high school, because no one else even realized they would’ve been left behind. No one pays attention to boys in schools. So yes, I’ve definitely seen them falling between the cracks. I use that phrase a lot to describe this reality honestly. These are only a few examples. It’s disgusting behavior honestly and our boys deserve much better from the school and nonprofit sectors! Smh

And if you're a man who's 25+, it's your fault for not doing better in life. People just don't give you any sympathy. Talked about how I was in need of a meager $50 dollars for some medical needs and got so much denigrating remarks.

Ya know whenever I tell women that I want sons or wish I had had brothers they say no you don’t, they can be nightmares. Trust me sisters are pretty bad from that standpoint of “nightmares”. Also I am an after school program teacher, all my fellow teachers complain that the boys are to rowdy and don’t care for the yoga practice. I said “well of course they are boys, they don’t want to sit and breathe. They want to compete and be challenged.” I never struggled engaging the boys and they always listened to me, most of them became very happy to see me since I move from school to school once I come around again. At one point I had a class of all boys and I already new from how they came in they were not gonna be still so I made everything a challenge and competition because if I did that they would be more focused and want to learn. A lot of people said that I let the kids get too rowdy, maybe I did. But kids learn through mistakes, you can’t be afraid to let them fall down. I was told from the very beginning of the school year that we were not to do any competitions or challenges. I said that that would not work for the boys and of course they did not care. Just like I thought when I did it their way, the normal way, the boys absorbed nothing and hated it. But when I met the boys were they were at the actually wanted to come back and had a desire to learn. People have this misconception that boys are unruly kids who don’t care to learn unlike girls, that is simply not the truth. It is not that the boys do not want to learn, it is that nobody creates a system that the boys can learn in. it has been proven in psychology that men and boys learn better through hands on.

It was actually really sweet and funny, there’s this one class I had where all the boys would say “quickly everyone hug her at the same time and knock her down.”😂 then the minute the girls saw the boys doing it they tried doing it too. The best part about this is they were never able to knock me down😂

Air conditioning. Toilets. Seat belts…

The world is full of things that are designed by men, for men, and which seem to leave women behind as mere after thoughts.

So too, it makes sense that industries that are dominated by men, will likely lead to working environments, policies and products that are to the benefit of men too.

I doubt such a phenomenon is an intentional thing, and thankfully the last generation or so has seen huge efforts to correct and fill in the blanks.

New crash test dummies, flexible working for mothers, and greater accommodation for PMS have arrived. And the days of women in badly fitting uniforms, with a wobbly helmet three sizes too big, and tools that she can’t hold quite right, are fading into the past.

And yet the journey is not over.

Because guess what; there are also industries dominated by women, that are creating similar spaces, ideas and tools that are centred around women, and opening up cracks of ignorance that men and boys are falling through.

I’m talking about teaching.

I’m talking about psychology.

And especially the domestic violence industry.

Are these industries, that are each 85%+ women, inadvertently part of a different kind of problem?

And what is price being paid by men and boys?

I think the issue that some feminists don't understand is that while yes, the system we live in was created by people who were men, that system was not created on any basis of a male identity.

Some women act as if they aren’t human with human desires and flaws. Women can be just as violent and cruel as men. All people have capacity for ignorance and hate especially when they only care about their own tribe. Al these supposed things that benefit men only be fit women more.

i was able to able to have this conversation with my best friend, who is a girl and very feminist mind you, she accepted that men go through more than people are willing to admit and agrees that the way men are treated is shit, i also accepted that many things men brush off as girls overreacting means a lot to them and many other women. women are treated badly and men are too, just in a different way, the world isnt caring for anybody, although this isnt the case as much nowadays we all still see struggles and many, including my friend, want to see this change. we also addressed rape laws and views on masculinity and how its becoming more and more skewed. we should be comparing the same status of men to similar status of women rather than looking to the extremes, we must also look to the real world and not our own personal experiences and stories off of the media, the media is designed to show you what you want to hear, not what you need to hear, this makes it dangerous for younger men and women who are trying to learn and find themselves in the media, trapped in algorithms.

Men suffer from receiving services provided mostly by women from a woman's point of view.

Women suffer from using goods designed by men from a man's point of view.

We need more services provided by men from a man's point of view.

We need more goods designed for women from a woman's point of view.

What is stopping men from pursuing those service sector jobs that they demand be more filled with people with a man's point of view in mind?

What is stopping women from pursuing those science and industry sector jobs where the decisions are made which goods are designed and marketed to which demographic so that they are also made with a woman's point of view in mind?

Both are problems that need to be solved.

I don't say that they are both part of the same problem. I don't say they both have the same underlying cause. I don't say they are both equally hard to solve or equally important. I would be biased anyways, writing this from a man's point of view. But both are problems that don't look impossible to solve.

Am I saying, women can't also have the man's point of view in mind when providing services to them? Am I saying, producers can't also have the woman's point of view in mind when producing things for them? I don't think so. But this is the status quo. And agreeing with it would be like saying there isn't a problem at all.

Someone doesn't understand how voice recognition works. The system probably needed to be trained for her voice, a quick process, and just never was.
