You are right that it can be very difficult to ascertain a girls sexual history/partner count. The best method in my experience is what TRP calls the "tickle truth" method, where you pretend to give absolutely zero fucks about her partner count, give off a sex positive vibe, and see how she responds. The best way to do this is to really genuinely not give a fuck, like I did for the most part, because for most of my life I really wasn't interested in anything long term. You would be shocked at the shit that flies out of some girls mouths whom you never would have guessed were "like that." However, you are right, she can totally just lie, or catch onto your game, or even be so advanced that she has a history, sees that you don't care about her p count and nexts you because she thinks you don't take her seriously and thats why you DGAF about her p count. lol. Girls are very crafty and very intuitive, IMO the best a guy can ever be is almost as good as the average girl at this shit, but those types just play the odds till they win.

Ultimately, its not really about "checking boxes" its about being happy. For most guys, a girls sexual history matters to some extent, and that preference isn't going to change, even if they really are "insecure," or "hypocritical." Example, a guy who wanted a gf with no more than 3 PC gets a girl with 11, is probably not going to get over it, so just don't wife her up.

Also, this preference for low p count girls is not rational in modern times, but then again neither is being attracted to big boobs. Breastfeeding isn't even technically necessary anymore lol. Very little about attraction/repulsion is rational.

Its a question of trust and character above all else.

Its precisely because its is easy for women to slut around and lie about it, that it becomes necessary to confront the issue; Showing restraint faced with plenty is virtuous by definition.

Much like its easy for a man to violently assault a woman, she ascertain (to some degree) that he'll not bash her skull in should they engage in a personal relationship and it turn sour.

Just like there are signs that some men are violent , aggressive and rage prone, so are there signs of female sluttiness.

What is the precise number where someone goes from "experienced" to "damaged goods"? Let's put out of 100, like percentage. Is it the amount of times they take new dicks/pussies (100 different dicks/pussies), or can you math it like "fucked one guy 90 times and 10 other guys" counts the same amount? How do you know the difference between someone who has fucked 100% of the people to tell they are damaged goods? Are any virgins damaged goods or do you have to have sex at least once? That's the reason why you don't ask, but infer it. The other guys in this thread have already delved into that.

Apart from that, in my experience women with very high partner counts tend to have a bunch of other traits that make them undatable (the nature of these traits may vary). The slutty unicorn, i.e. an otherwise perfect woman who just happens to have fucked a whole bunch of guys, simply doesn't exist. I'd wager that a large share of the "don't stick your dick in crazy"-experiences have been with high n-count women.

Nah, a slut isn't irreconcilable. Its just something about her I consider that I'd definitely like to know before deciding if I want her in my life as more than a random or friend.

I actually don't stress asking her at all. In fact, I'd be naive to. I dated women most frequently in Hong Kong, Malaysia and to a smaller extent, South China(various). A bit more than half were natives, and the culture makes it so that woman generally doesn't want to be seen as slutty. They expect men here care a lot about their chastity, femininity, etc. Not to say they don't do everything that normal girls do, but they also know how to hide it.

So instead of fighting it, I just play to defying those expectations. I become sex-positive. Accepting. Forthcoming. I demonstrate, instead of just saying so, that they can trust me. Or rather, they can be freer and less obligated to maintain any sort of perfect image around me. I don't shame people for anything. I tell people all sorts of fun stories of things about me, and flawed people I've known and respected. And most of all, I encourage her when she opens up sexually to me. I explicitly tell her that those impulses of her are really attractive to me. And if she doesn't display them, teasing her is fair game at all times.

I also frequently play game where I make assumptions about people and discuss those with them as a means to get to know them. The intent being to empathize better, help us break the ice on ourselves (especially her by correcting my assumptions) and generally become more vulnerable with each other. I'm also pretty nonchalant about asking really blunt questions. And people often just tell you their secrets, especially if you reciprocate and you show them how little of a deal it is being so free around you.

I rarely stay a stranger to a girl I'm with, even if I've only know her a few days or weeks. I rarely don't know something about her as simple as who she's loved and been with and why.

EDIT: To give an example of how getting partner counts isn't hard using this method. I actually have gotten an assortment of honest answers to questions like "Whats the craziest place you've ever masturbated?"*** and "how often" and "to what?". imo "How many guys" isn't that far off. You just assure her you won't judge when she inevitably hesitates and she'll tell you. Women like talking about themselves.

You don't need to know her exact amount of partners. I almost expect pretty much every woman to lie about it (AWALT yall). Remember the "rule" of multiplying the number she says by three. What you need to know is if the number of partners she had is in the range of being unacceptable to you.

Some people believe you can make an educated guess on whether a woman is a slut by observing the way she behaves, dresses, etc. I won't comment on the scientific validity of that kind of thinking.

Au contraire, mon frère (soeur?). Women are good at lying, but not necessarily that good at covering their tracks. There are usually tells. Long periods of time with no boyfriend, highly extroverted personalities, lots of pictures with her and random men, etc. Not all sluts have those as prerequisites, but those often give the more obvious ones away.

And as /u/cxj pointed out, women are incredibly forthcoming if you get them to lower their guards. Sex-positivity works wonders.

I never ask a girl about how many people she has slept with. It is pretty easy to work out roughly from talking to the woman and her friends. People that think that a girl who has slept with 100+ guys can just act like a girl that has slept with less then 10 guys is not really paying attention to well.

Thanks to red pill advice, I fully intend on lying about my p count in the future. My family and friends all think I'm a "good girl" because I'm introverted and dress somewhat conservatively, so I know they'll speak positively of me. Weird argument. Lots of people put emphasis on things they can't truly verify. You can't verify that you'll live another day, be able to support your family, etc, but you get up and go to work anyway.

If I really wanted to verify your partner count, I probably could. Drop enough cash and I could get a private investigator to do a full background on you, and discreetly at that. It wouldn't be 100% certain, but certainly close enough to act on from a strategic standpoint.

Finally, let me just say, my advice to all fellow men is to assume every woman you meet is a slut and treat her accordingly. It won't be accurate 100% of the time, but strategically, it's the best working assumption. Fuck bitches, never marry, never worry about whether she's telling the truth because you already know she isn't. And, as clear from the many BP posts on the subject, women are ready and willing to hamster that their lies are justified and that anyway, all the other girls are doing it.

Most guys can't tell if a woman has slept with 1 man or 47 men just by looking at her.

Very few women are walking around scantily clad and acting like Jenna Jameson or Lindsay Lohan. And sometimes the chicks who do look trashy and act trashy are in fact virgins or don't have many sexual partners.

I'm not saying life is fair or people should be forced to like what they don't like, but there are no true clear indicators.

That said I do think women on the very high end who aren't Jenna Jameson types (owning it and enjoying) tend to be the sad promiscuous types and their sadness about being "used" is usually easy to discern.

But it depends what's "high."
