The author of the OP you linked thinks AWALT is fine. If anything her OP is a reminder that AMALT exists too. This sub tends to focus on how women are harpies more often than not. It was a reminder that “men too.”

The M&M analogy acknowledges that most men are not dangerous, while AWALT says right in the statement that all women are like that, which implies that either at some point she will be like that, or that she is restraining herself from being like that, both of which I find to be insulting generalizations. A better generalization to protect men without being so insulting that I've read before is EWALT, or enough women are like that. This would be the equivalent to the M&M analogy.

I think that my number 1 advice for relationships is if you're a man stay away from any woman who makes AMALT generalizations. If you're a woman stay away from any man who makes AWALT generalizations. You will never be trusted or loved and will probably be abandoned. Most women who divorce raped men made AMALT generalizations but the men didn't see it and stuck their heads in the sand even though their AMALT words were warning signs. Likewise AWALT is a warning sign for women.

No, because every situation needs to be jusdged with in its its own context and merit. Serious physical harm can have a more detrimental and permanent effect full stop.

Not to mention physical harm is way more quantifiable when assessing damage.

Being weary of stranger men in an unfamiliar area with no cameras or security is different from being on a busy road with patrolling police nearby.

Being wary of bad behaviour in a stranger women is fine for an initial date is fine. Treating her so after few months of actually knowing her is ridiculous.

Context is everything.

You don't seem to understand the differences here and there are several;

A) although the female poster did say "men are dangerous," at the end of her post she did say any man is "potentially" dangerous. She is saying not that "all" men are dangerous, the issue is you have no way to tell who's dangerous and who isn't. AWALT is literally "all" women. It's not a generalization - it's definitive. That's clearly misogyny.

B) This woman is talking about a specific situation where a woman would reasonably need to err on the side of caution and assume the guy might be dangerous. Most likely, although I can't speak for that other poster, if she met the same man in another situation, such as being introduced by a mutual friend, she would not think the same. As far as I can tell, the AWALT crowd believes these are fixed traits of all women, regardless of the context. That's misogyny.

AMALT as described in the linked OP is about strange men on the street. Hardly the same thing as AWALT which requires you have your guard up at all times even years into a relationship. You think women don’t walk alone, in the dark with dudes I have known for years?

You can't stop ignorance. But if we are being real I have never heard someone in the real world say AWALT or AMALT. I talk about red pill core ideas with my buddies all the time, but I never actually say red pill. People saying that shit are just a bunch of reddit users in a niche sub. Now if you are talking about Feminism or far left media then I dont really give a shit cause I don't read it or go after women like that.

It's all ego protection. Some people just HAVE to see the world in black and white, my side and your side, us and them. When in reality, the vast majority of humanity, male and female alike, are emotionally stunted, self-centered, obnoxious twats. When I first read TRP and I read AWALT and internalized it and understood it, I knew that it was more like, "All would COULD be like that" and we have to be really mindful and not get swept up into a daydream. It is like a reminder that you can get in a car accident or cancer from smoking, it can happen, and it can happen to YOU. Obviously, women don't branch swing or whatever at every single opportunity, but they could. So keep that possibility in mind. Don't get too comfortable. I think men especially tend to get too comfortable in relationships and take our women for granted. We forget to keep her attracted to us and to work on our relationship all the time.

Basically, enough men are dangerous to make the generalization true like at least 80% of the time.

Red pill generalizations like AWALT are actually generalizations that apply to a small subset of women who engage with things like Tinder and are White Middle Class Americans between the ages of 20 and 35 and say AWALT which is wildly inaccurate from any kind of an objective perspective.

The answer to your question is your generalization doesn't get shut down because generalizations are bad, they get shut down because they're wildly inaccurate and don't reflect the realities that the vast majority of people it claims to apply to experience.

TLDR: Red Pill is mostly horse shit, men are dangerous is mostly not.
