We are all familiar with the tales of woe from young women raised in homes with no or an absent or narcissistic father. If those girls fail to seek and receive help they are doomed to have "daddy issues." They will be dysfunctional in romantic relationships, manipulative and entitled, even prone to misandry. These women are regarded as weak and broken.

As pointed out by many on the TRP they were raised in homes with no or an absent father plus a narcissistic or extreme-feminist mother. If those boys fail to seek help should they not be deemed to have "mommy issues?" They too will be dysfunctional in romantic relationships, manipulative and act entitled. They will be prone to misogyny. These men should be regarded as weak and broken.

Many of the proposed methods, as found on TRP, to deal with their "mommy issues" involve denial or minimization of empathy. This , in combination with the pre-existing "mommy issues," may lead to development of a number of mental illnesses: anti-social personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder or borderline personality disorder. Advocates of utilizing "Dark Triad" methodology are promoting a dangerous pill for others to swallow. All of this concerns sociopathic behavior.

The point being is this: you cannot treat the "mommy issues" by either ignoring them or using methods that are effectively all about emotional numbing, desensitization and removal of empathy. To do so is a recipe for psychopathy.

Edit: my proposed solution is not the banning of TRP or anything of the sort. What it needs is an overhaul where the positive and the destructive are separated. It is a healthy thing to self-analyze and review from time to time. The advocates for 'Dark Triad', manipulation and pretending TRP can be amoral are damaging its members. I find it abhorrent to give those seeking assistance the keys to self-destruction.
