you’re judging self-worth by an n-count that you yourself have basically deemed worthless anyhow because you are picky. if you are picky, you wouldn’t feel bad about your n-count. it seems like you’re not actually asking for advice on how to lower your standards, but advice on how to “close” with girls outside your “SMV range.” the advice for lowering your standards is pretty simple after all: try to fuck less attractive women. i mean fucking Christ guys

Back in 2013 when i actually put effort I went on a date with a pretty unattractive 3-4/10 who I wasn’t happy to be with still took her back home. She kinda looked like Shrek, but luckily not as tall.

She ended up being of the best lays i’ve ever had. I think something about her being not as good looking actually made me less nervous and think less about trying to impress her, so I was able to really be myself. My boner would almost break through my boxers with her after that.

So moral of the story is they might not be attractive on the outside but they may still fuck really good.

Know what you want in a partner. (That is actually the hard part for many people. True self knowledge is rare)

Try to get that kind of partner by doing all you can do to be the kind of man that is attractive to the type of woman you are after.

If you succeed there is no reason to lower your standards.

If you fail then get used to the idea that you can't get what you want. You are not good enough even when you put all the effort you can give. That is reality. Don't deny it. Adapt.

If you still want to have a partner, go back to step one. Make a shorter list of desirable qualities. Know your priorities. Know yourself.

Go ahead from step 2 and repeat all steps until you either are ok with the kind of women you can actually get or you realize that the juice isn't worth the squeeze for you and go MGTOW.

N-count is not the best measure. I went through a phase in my early 30s where I though fucking more women would be enlightening or something, and so I lowered my standards so as to bang something new weekly for a while. It was worthess at best and a mistake at worse. So I cranked it.

IMHO to STR or LTR a series of 8s is way better then fucking your way through a zombie apocalypse of 6s,5s or outright undead. As long as you are not indugling bitchyness you will be much happier getting your weekly bang from some BMI 20 Runner Up Miss Corn Fed Hooters than slamming Porky Paula on Saturday, Bimbo Betty on Sunday, and then spending the rest of the week trying to line of some new low-end contenders to rinse and repeat with.

But wait. . .where pray tell do you estimate your SMV? If you are at least a 6 then you can game 8s to some effect. If you are 5 or 4 or wolfman or frankenstein then you really have to adjust your goals.

It just comes naturally. Its like hunger. As you get hungrier, your definition of acceptable food goes down.

Also with age, you realize things other than looks are important. Do you share the same values? Is she kind and respectful? Do you see a future together? Stuff like that may not matter at 18 but in your 30s stuff like that becomes more important, and you will overlook more and more physical flaws if the answers are correct for those questions.

So part of it is a mix of thirst and maturity.

I'm just speculating but I'd assume that the pickiness is linked to a negative reaction (revulsion or disgust). You could maybe approach it by exposing yourself to whatever stimulus it is that produces the negative feelings with the goal of acclimating yourself and practicing ways of sorting/dismissing the negative thoughts until it becomes learned automatic behavior. For example, you could practice focusing on those features you do find attractive rather than dwelling on the unattractive features. That sort of thing.

Get used to the idea that you can NOT PUT EFFORT in the date and still try to close.

When you set a date with and go out with an attractive woman, you'll play safe and take some time to display as much high value as you can before escalating.
When she's not that attractive, just use some line to make it fitting to take her to a room.

In no time you'll be calibrated, with the bonus of being more sensitive to indicators that she is particularly horny.

Think of Tinder. You CAN invite a woman over for sex. Sometimes it'll still work.
