A common misconception about how people get dragged into cults, conspiracy theories, etc. is that these were unreasonable/crazy people to begin with who were easily swayed by unreasonable/crazy ideas.

That's generally not how it works. Those types of groups are effective because they lead with reasonable questions, observations, and propositions. Once they've established credibility with the listener that way, they gradually progress into the wilder shit. And the listener goes "well they've been making sense up to now, maybe they're right about this other stuff too."

It seems you are currently at the same crossroads. But you're using your thinking cap. "Okay they say these things about women that kind of fit my experience...but is this really unique or inherent to women?" A lot of people will not put on their thinking cap or make it to the "but" part.

Look in the mirror while reading off just the titles of all the links say them with authority while looking at yourself really try to feel like you’re same things with conviction look at how you look and how it sounds after that if you still think it’s legit, go to a friend a mentor someone you trust and then read them the titles with the same authority m. I mean: if you can say all that those titles say with a straight face and say “yeah no this makes sense “then go for it but I have a feeling you’re not gonna make it through everything that said without going “now what is this shit? “

The red pill is not about vilifying women as bad or problematic. It's about acknowledging the reality of things beyond social conditioning, and learning how to navigate it so you can experience better results, and avoid bad results.

It's also about acknowledging the broader issues of society, how they affect men and women, and what that means for you.

If you don't learn this stuff somehow, unless you get lucky or are already privileged with good looks, high status, wealth, a good community, a good country that has good social infrastructure, you will have to learn through direct experience. And that is usually not fun. You can waste years of your life in deadend relationships, becoming wiser, yes, but also more traumatized and jaded.

Are there right-wing people and misogynists in the red pill community who want to enforce patriarchy and hierarchy, and drive a wedge between men and women for their own political and financial benefit, praying on people's suffering? Yes. But that's true of any community.

Why aren't there more left wing people in the red pill community?

Society is working for them. Confirm this yourself by finding people who are criticizing the red pill community and are also on the left, and check for indicators of privilege that I mentioned above.

Want an example? Hasan Piker, who has similar political stances to me, yet claims to have slept with hundreds of women, including porn stars; has women saying on camera that he's hot and that they want to have sex with him; is very wealthy; is very mainstream, lives in a giant American city and his political views aside, is very mainstream.

Yet he has the hubris to tell people that "anyone can be an 8," and that you just need to "treat women like people" and you'll have no problem.

A contradiction I've found with the left is that they tend to be a bit blind to social conditioning and have a pro-institution bias that leads them to supporting or defending institutions and social norms that are actually problematic. Why? Privilege. The wolf isn't at their door, so they don't know any different.

When society doesn't work for you, that's when you begin questioning things because you're seeing glitches in the socially conditioned and constructed matrix.

People who "take the red pill" can see that matrix. It doesn't denote a particular method or course of action, it just means you see things as they are, more or less.

That doesn't mean people won't still have their own biases and cognitive blindspots. Beware of anyone who tells you otherwise.

Men and women are biologically and psychologically different, on an innate evolved level. They are socialized differently on top of that while experiencing different environmental pressures. So of courser there are behaviors that men or women do more of. It's just a question of which ones and how great the difference is. It is also important to remember that individual variation is high--overlapping curves, yada, yada.

In this case, women experience more intense dissatisfaction than men do when a relationship does not meet their needs. There are good evolved reasons for this. Higher costs. Smaller fertility window. One baby at a time, so way more opportunity cost. So women tend to think about and monitor the status of the relationship more than men do. When she is cold at the 'end' of the relationship, the man is thinking the end just started now. She has likely been unhappy for a while and sending many signals to this effect that have been ignored. Women are naturally more agreeable on average, so when she has had enough, she often needs to shut all emotion down to make the needed move. TRP calls this flipping the switch. It's not really about the guy as much as it is about her managing her own emotions so as to get the fuck out of a situation that ranges from wasting her time to threatening her life.

Both of these statements are true:

“Men and women are different”

“People are different”

We can find patterns everywhere, and we have evolved to be pattern recognition machines.

We also really, really like attributing behaviours to someone’s ‘group’. Like this:

“He did that because he’s a man, and we all know men are X”

The same is true for women.

Now, sometimes this kind of attribution is correct. However, when you’ve gone through a tough time, it’s natural to try to rationalise it.

Are women crueller than men? After you get dumped, it can sure feel like it!

There’s probably some truth to it, but like a lot of things

Big creators and popular videos are primarily their to boost their own engagement, views, popularity and money, not to help you or share things that are strictly true.
Like a lot of primarily online ideologies, it seems like a way to massively simplify human behaviour in order to try and make the innately unpredictable nature of dating seem like something with set black and white rules. Some people find this comforting. Some parts of it just seemed designed to justify to certain men their hatred of women, depending what corner of it you find yourself in.

I have watched videos of red pill creators who make good points. I don’t think every single thing they say is complete BS (At least some creators) but it sounds like the algorithm is trying to push you into a echo chamber, which I’d definitely try to avoid.

Obviously? Not to say everyone you meet is a malicious conman, but humans just inevitably try to take as many inches as they can and get ahead as much as they can. The basic contract society is founded on is that you get all the base benefits of society in exchange for not being a deliberately antisocial asshat (and even then there's ways around it). Millions of people for huge swathes of history have doled out resources on the basis of who's the best at exploiting their fellow man. The rule of law only works when it's founded on the idea that a state-sanctioned gang can show to violently enforce it. Large chunks of the population dedicate their labour exclusively to the act of just conning other people.

It's not a practical problem since societal pressures mostly keeps it in check, but the idea that humans are extremely capable of being unempathetic and taking advantage of others is a truism
