Masculinity is defined and presented differently all over the world. This alone means that its artificial. In addition everyone acknowledges that you have to train men to be masculine. Even TRP states this. This also highlights it is not inherently natural. Nothing natural about suppressing any and all emotion to appear stoic. Or not showing physical affection and reassurance with your bros for fear of being seen as gay.

Agreed with you that femininity is not inherently natural either. Just a collection of societal gender roles built on top of a vaguely established natural base.

I see why you would think this, with how society only praises masculinity. There's a whole other side of femininity outside of what mainstream culture teaches. There's a reason for this- masculinity is solar in nature which is obvious, transparent etc. Femininity is lunar, hidden/subconscious/repression. Femininity is the other side of polarity, if we were all supposed to be masculine we'd all be men. There's a reason femininity is "false" or whatever, because femininity is about creating and beautifying/modifying.

Men and women are both masculine and feminine but we're respectively predominantly masculine and feminine.

The natural part of female beauty rituals is the desire to be attractive. Female beauty rituals are more time and labor-intensive than male rituals because women's physical appearance plays a bigger role in their sexual desirability than it does for men. (This is why you see young attractive women with unattractive but wealthy men).

Now, why do these beauty rituals involve shaving? Because hairlessness is associated with youth, innocence, and vulnerability. Women shave either because they desire to be protected and cared for by men, or because men want to infantilize women (Obviously the more feminist you are, the more you are going to say shaving is an unnatural byproduct of the patriarchy and man's desire to subjugate women). However, I would argue the desire to be cared for and provided is natural. Women seek a man who will care for them after childbirth when they are vulnerable. Everyone agrees that women should not work shortly after giving birth. Some want to solve that problem with extended maternal leave, others want to solve it by having men be the sole/primary breadwinner.

As an aside: there is a strangeness about your argument. You suggest that men expressing nurturing qualities, which is associated with feminity, does not make those men feminine. Therefore, nurturing qualities are not feminine. However, women expressing masculine qualities does not render those qualities gender-neutral. If I can convince a large enough population of men to display feminine qualities, do those qualities cease to be feminine? This is a very unstable definition of masculinity and feminity.

Modern feminine presentation is just exaggerating the traits of a naturally young, fertile woman. The makeup, the shaving, the long shiny hair is all just to emulate the naturally feminine traits that turn men on.

Mainstream culture does glorify masculine traits and hate on feminine ones, so it's natural that you'd see actual feminine traits as some kind of flaw or deviation.

It’s the opposite. Women literally bleed from their vaginas based on a lunar cycle. Masculinity isn’t “artificial” but fertility is an inescapable aspect affecting female psychology and behavior far more than any external influence on male behavior.

Interesting, I wanted to make a post titled exactly the opposite.

I won't go too deep into it here, maybe I'll make my post one day... But even in strictly biological terms, without much philosophy, even though I'm far from a legit-science-source...

Do you know how the human fetus evolves into a male one? Essentially, the mother's body senses the male chromosome as an invader basically, a foreign object in her body. Therefore she starts producing hormones and floods the womb with chemicals, basically in order to ELIMINATE the male fetus. These hormones, which are intended to be a mother's self-defense mechanism, are what basically cause the fetus to grow 'masculine characteristics' (even penis, for instance, is basically an enlarged clitoris, you can check the pictures by typing "large clitoris" into google although I am warning you it might be disturbing to you)

It's also interesting, because of this (the mother's body is basically traumatized after producing a male child) the next male child will have lower testosterone and is more likely to be gay, because the mother's body can't keep producing these chemicals/hormones in such quantities if the next child happens to have XY chromosome

So in my view, it seems as if female is the more "innate" form of nature, but that's just speculation, in fact it's not even that... but anyway

Google the traits for masculine and feminine. Masculine is basically the traits of a super hero. Feminine has the traits of a whiny child who can't take care of herself and only cares about emotions.

A dictionary actually had feminine as a synonym for weak.

I know it's bs because they list multitasking as a feminine thing but it was actually never proven than women were better at it. The results varied, sometimes they found men were better but mostly everyone sucked equally at it.

Masculine is called goal directed while feminine is relationship directed. Which is still a goal.

Masculine is independent, feminine is called dependent. Which wasn't the case but for the last few hundred years and is just traditional wishful thinking.

Yeah, I totally see this. Pink was a mans color in the past, btw. It used to be a manly color women avoided. It's not a biological thing for women to be attracted to pink.

Yep, gender is just a social construct used to pressure people, especially women, into traditional roles. Nowadays, people support it and try to create more instead of trying to abolish it altogether. It’s so unhealthy to try to make people conform to gender roles.

Modern Masculinity and femininity are both natural with unnatural elements.

Natural feminine traits would be things like empathy, sensitivity, gentleness, being nurturing etc

are you saying that. before civilization was developed, back when we were hunter gatherers or whatever, that femininity just didn’t exist? that masculinity was the only thing that existed.
