It was initially a joke by Owen Benjamin but it was interesting to think about. It goes hand-in-hand with men being individualist and women being collectivist.

Men generally function on a sink-or-swim mentality. When a guy's at the bottom of the barrel, he's typically told to suck it up. And then when a guy is more successful with anything, he's congratulated and praised.

Women generally have this "we're all in this together" mentality since they're more social. When Becky's crying about being too fat to be loved, women who dont hate her will drop everything and coddle her to make her feel better. But then when Stacy's doing better than all the girls in the group, they'll talk shit about her in a heartbeat. However, I see this more with feminists talking about conservative women.

Then there's losers of both genders. They're like communists. They dont want to elevate anyone up. They want everyone at the bottom in the hopes that the losers could feel on top for once. They'll talk crap about anyone who's more attractive than they are ("Beta Male", "Cuck", "Skinny bitch", "Sex object", "You have internal misogyny") and try convincing people that everyone would be better off if they were undesirable too.
