Socially, the term “player” is usually not a phrase that women call guys less physically attractive than themselves, and that phrase has a high correlation with who women clearly actually want to talk to & sleep with on apps. Lots of people get called “misogynists“ if they fully explain this dynamic, even though it’s easily visible and common.
