Consider an average looking straight man who is introverted (he has below average social skills), and he is not at a point in his life where he is interested in relationships. He is interested exclusively in hookups and casual encounters due to his high libido.

He is able to secure an LTR with a woman who is also average looking and introverted. But he is not able to get casual sex, which is what he wants. If he states that he wants an LTR, then he can get one, but if he states that he just wants sex, then women reject him categorically.

I see 3 options for him:

1) Invest in speech and autism therapy, dating coaches, fitness coaches etc. and train himself to become a high-functioning attractive extrovert, all for the sake of just experiencing casual sex, with the realistic possibility that these efforts might not even succeed due to the high competition he would face in this domain.

2) Pay for casual sex with a couple escorts (which he can easily afford), slowly but surely become bored of it, and then eventually settle down in an LTR with an introverted woman who is like him.

3) Give up the urge for casual sex with Buddhist and Stoic meditation or other religious practices, and then settle down in an LTR with an introverted woman who is like him.

Are there options he has which I am forgetting to include?

Also, question for everyone:

1) Which option should he follow and why?

2) Are you man or woman? If you're a woman, would you date man who picks #2, or only men who pick #3?

3) Do you participate in casual sex yourself?
