But at the end of the day, I don’t think the dating world of white middle class western Americans is heavily affecting the fabric of American culture. Media responded to an audience that resonates with nice guys finishing first. It wasn’t crafted cynically by a Jewish/feminist agenda.

Women may benefit in a specific way when it comes to unapologetic promiscuity, online dating and birth control. This wouldn’t be possible without the women’s liberation movement. But, there’s so many more relevant historical conditions to spark 3rd wave feminism it’s bizarre to frame it in “19-22” y/os dating in 2019 as the ultimate end goal.
