If you’ve never had sex with a man it can be a lot to handle. You need to really want to do it for it to feel good at all. I wouldn’t suggest just trying to get with any guy to see if you like it because you’ll probably have a bad experience. You should really already like a guy and have those sexual feelings already before you try it. I feel like it’s worth exploring but if you’re having such a hard time dating women already, it’s not about women in general, just that maybe you haven’t been able to find the right woman yet.

Open a dating profile and allow both men and women, then try to find someone you really like despite their gender. If you meet a guy you’re interested in, make sure you take the time to get to know him and develop that trust because a lot of guys out there are selfish and will just use you for sex, which will leave you with a bad experience. But there’s really no harm in dipping your toes into men just to see if you’re into it. Prepare to be disappointed though lol

If you're on a masculine side, you're likely not going to be a fit for guys who are aren't very confident in themselves - they'll likely be too threatened.But there will be two types of men that I can think of that you might be a good fit for 1) slightly feminine men, or 2) men who are very confident and were raised around and prefer strong women. I'm in group #2 and my ex-wife is also a Marine & she's had a hard time dating since we divorced and she got out.

Lastly, some studies have suggested that DV is statistically more of an issue in lesbian relationships so if you haven't figure out how to resolve conflict without getting physical then do not get in a relationship with a man. Mature men usually have longer fuses, but when we get mad, it can get bad.

You should seriously vet them for sexual compatibility, since you are honestly probably more used to being more intentively (probably not a real word, but should be; has more feeling that way lol) taken care of down south. Compared to what the average guy is reportedly to give.

Otherwords... Find the guy that will eagerly give good head, and/or finger action, and is not shy about toys, depending on your usual taste.

To do this... In that, "getting to know you before I fuck you" playful conversation, you set up easy innuendos or such to give him a chance to throw out some dumb joke that amounts to him boasting/admitting he'd proudly go down, or whatever you are wanting to know. Drop enough easy chances, and he'll eventually take the bait; assuming he does take pride in his handiwork at all.

Yes, this is crude... But it's fast and direct. You'll know and get your answer for sure and quickly. It's playfully tactful, at least on your behalf. He's the one running with innuendos, and taking it a step further. Junkfood for thought.

This isn't an advice sub, but if you're going to date a man be upfront with your intentions. My partner's sibling dated a queer person and it turned out they weren't really interested in a relationship, they just wanted to see if they were attracted to the opposite sex.

I don't have any stats to back this up but my purely anecdotal experience is I know alot of women who are or were bisexual / lesbian / open to fooling around with women in college / early 20's who eventually married men.

No PPD fam...lets give OP a chance. As open minded as I am, I would say go for it and experiment what works for you. From what I've seen, it takes a lot for anyone to change their sexuality regardless of who they are dating. If you were to date a man, you might be still having the idea of women in your head and could possibly just be going through the motions with him. Something you really have to sit down in the future and think about.

ETA: In college I slept with one or two lesbian girls who had the nerve to tell me that they are still gay, as if I was hoping I would change their sexuality. I know many women that turned gay because they were sick of men (think FDS entitlements unmet ×100) so in a way OP isn't wrong for asking here as well. There have been quite a few gay related posts on this sub (not counting the insane Purge Week) so maybe we can provide some insight for OP.

OP, do what you feel is right and makes you happy in a relationship, mentally and sexually, regardless of what gender or non-gender you decide to date. Peace.

You're not going to getanything out of dating someone who you're not attracted to. Your ex is having a good time dating a man because she's bisexual, but it doesn't seem like you are at all, so your experience won't be the same. I know that lesbian dating is hard, but you'll get there, and it'll be worth it when you do.
