How many have you actually met to judge this? I could say at this point that your OP makes you seem like you have the charisma of a wet lettuce, but Ive never met you so how could I know?

But I thought they frequently DO say that some beta traits ARE good for relationships? I'm pretty sure they do. I'm pretty sure they also recommend guys be self sufficient and know how to do laundry and cook and everything else so they're not dependent on anyone else.

I feel like this summary isn't really fair. It ignores the central problem with TRP and it isn't really accurate.

uhhh weight lifting is hugely important. You have to look hot as hell to get average to above average women. Weightlifting can help with that.

No, beta isn't "bad". It's just that most men who come to TRP have way too much beta/comfort and not nearly enough alpha sexy.

Weightlifting is necessary for toning. most men aren't going to get toned with running or dieting. There is such a thing as skinnyfat, and as skinny/flabby.

Showing emotion isn't bad. It's that most men who fail at relationships show way too much emotion too often. And they show negative emotions like anger, fear, depression and despair.

It's better to show a woman you care for her than it is to tell her. Demonstrate, don't explicate.

It's better not to talk politics with most women. Agree that politics and political viewpoints/stances aren't "attractive" or "impressive".

How one should act is situationally dependent and takes time to calibrate. However, if you're having trouble with women, the vast majority of the time, "more alpha" will help as opposed to "beta".
Most guys could stand to hit the gym. Most guys are months if not years of working out away from toned. Strength is alsosomething women generally seem to find attractive. TRP advocates a number of self improvement strategies and activities.
Controlled emotion is fine. Being overly emotional, or displaying too much emotional investment too early is not. Crying in front of a girl you barely know is typically unattractive.
It's better to show than tell. Too much emotional validation before the relationship has sufficiently progressed desexualizes your interactions and is a one way ticket to 'Let's just be friends'.
Obviously. Wait, you don't think we talk on an anonymous message board the same way we talk to women we're trying to sleep with, do you? You can't possibly be that dense.

First of all, robots are valuable, don't pretend they aren't. And value and focus can be charismatic if you're vision speaks to the truth in others.
Weightlifting isn't always about what women prefer, it's more about treating your body with respect and getting what you want from it and improving it (which improves everything from how you think, to how you feel, to your energy levels...all those have nothing to do with women).
Emotions get in the way of sharing your ultimate vision with the world. There is only one truth to everything that's true to every single organism and person in the past, present and future "this too shall pass", so why not share your ultimate vision of truth over your short term vision of truth? My emotions are my truth in the moment, but they aren't my greatest truth. My greatest truth is certainly more impressive on me than my short term truth. How could it not? My emotions rob me of sharing that truth with others.
How is being political not impressive? Not participating in things you're responsible for isn't impressive?

Is your list about things redpill doesn't get, or is this list about how aspects of it don't serve everyone when they teach a man how to serve himself?

For point one, if you read deep into RP stuff you'll find that they'll consider the most attractive man to be an "alpha bux". That is someone with strong alpha traits but is also rich and will spend money on their partner. Remember, RPers routinely mock the "beta" but they recognise that it's a sexual strategy in its own right just that it doesn't give the same return as acting "alpha". Add the positive parts of beta strategy like £££ and you hit perfection.

In regards to point two, I think it's good advice because most men won't have the time or motivation to morph into some kind of hulk. If they can encourage fellas to hit the gym and put on 10 pounds of muscle in a few months that'll do wonders. You don't accidentally go to the gym and wake up six months down the line with a Schwarznegger body it takes a helluva lot of effort and drugs to get that big.

I agree with your final bullet point. I would always steer clear of talking politics but than again...where do RPers claim that you should talk politics when trying to seduce women? Doesn't happen.

alpha and beta are rigid definitions that are too narrow to accurately apply to all people in all situations. There is so much more than these two things, and forcing everything into one category or the other is actually teaching you less about social interaction, not more.
Women are like men: they have diverse opinions on what they find attractive. "Dad bod" has apparently become a thing recently. shrug
Emotion is necessary. I've only ever seen women get furious and frustrated when they are trying to engage with someone who refuses to engage in return.

"Beta" is not a synonym of bad anymore than "alpha" is a synonym of good. There are good, attractive beta traits and there are bad, unattractive alpha traits. Taking either to the extreme is a bad idea. TRP's mistake is they often confuse "beta" with "supplicating doormat," or worse, use the word "beta" when they really mean "omega." Reasonable reds claim that "Beta" and "Alpha" define traits, that can be good or bad, and that men are a mix of those traits.

As for weightlifting... It isn't as important as just not being fat. If a guy is healthy from a proper diet and a form of exercise (running, tennis, whatever; not at pro level but as leisure) his body will be fine. But if a "toned" body is the goal, weightlifting (and a proper diet) will get you there more effectively.

I agree that sometimes TRP takes the emotions thing to the extreme. "Never show weakness to your woman," etc, etc. Emotions are human. Most women want to feel an "emotional connection" in LTRs. And no, that doesn't mean she wants the guy to be an "emotional tampon." She wants to know about his emotions and problems too. She wants him to trust her enough to open up to her. No, being constantly negative or depressed is not attractive, but being human is.
