Quick, need a tie breaking vote. Im doing a charity run to stop child abuse and neglect tomorrow morning. Its last minute and its a super hero run. Should I:

A. Just slap on a cape and call it good ( the cheap option )

or

B. Buy a full Flash costume

Kids will be running too, so they might like to see the full flash costume, but Im not near lanky enough to pull off a Barry Allen.

Thoughts?

Went to the gym this morning - today was bench day and a regular convinced me to work up to my 1RM for fun instead of my normal sets. I got 100 kg and it was kinda, I don't know, underwhelming? I thought 2 plate bench was supposed to be hype or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hugh Hefner rip :(

It strikes me that Hefner got more pussy and at a later age than any rp-warrior ever will. But then he had a wholly unique personal brand. Kinda like Dan Bilzerian or even Russel Brand. But Hefner was probably never a rp-guy. So perhaps trp system can be described as a poor man's substitute for the Hef.

I also kinda tend to think a lot of these rp-guys are really young. Yeah, if you're in your 20s you can do a bit of all that; spinning, never committing, etc. But aren't these guys setting themselves up for fail later in life. Most people are not going to (or even want to) be spinning 20yo thots when they're 42. And for this they choose to forego love, a stable relationship, kids even. Yeah, I think many of these guys are going to wake up and regret their life choices.

I'm starting to hate life in general. I'm trying to be on the right side of things but this whole FOMO is messing with me.

I want to get my first gun but my cousin, who has done time, says I shouldn't. I think he thinks I'm crazy. If folk studied the things I do and realized the ramifications of it, they'd be feeling the same as me.

I'm considering acting.

I was thinking about making a post on "social pinging", how some people do this and some people don't, and how it plays into pickup and game type strategies. What set this going in my head is that I have a particular circle of friends whose socialization is like 90% social pinging, it is so weird but hey that's how a lot of people work

Made plans to go to Zion NP in a couple weeks, I'm super pumped about it. If you've ever seen Angels Landing or The Narrows, this is that. I've wanted to go for a long time and it's pretty cool that it's finally gonna happen

Spent the weekends up at a cabin with my girlfriends. It was beautiful and relaxing but I'm kind of glad for summer to be over. I've been out of town the past 9 weekends in a row, trying to soak up as much time with friends as possible before we move at the end of the year.

I've been missing my partner though. Glad we'll have this weekend partially to ourselves. Hopefully get some wedding stuff done.

Went to a cool concert/music festival Saturday. Made some new friends, drank some beers, smoked a bunch. It was fun. I was stood up though, so I'm pissed about the wasted money and rudeness of ghosting a day prior. Thing is, the chick works in my building. I'm going to see her today, it's inevitable, so why ghost on me? Just send a text " hey sorry, cant make it". At least let me know so I could potentially find someone else/recoup the money I spent.

I'm pretty pissed

Today marks the real beginning if my new actual attempt to becoming the person I want to be. Yesterday I started, but today made actual progress.

A lot of these throw back to my original new years resolutions. Funny I'm starting some now lol.

2 weeks straight of MFP logging. Working on that discipline ;).

I started doig theXEffect method of trying to obtain new goals and habits. If anyone wants to see a pic of my board let me know! The top ones I definitely need to get under wraps are taking my morning meds, moisturizing (thanks /u/MissMaude), cleaning up daily, working out, meditation. I also have complete Todo list (which will vary by day) and not procrastinate. Hmm.

I don't know how well I'll do w/ the not procrastinate one.

I also spend 5 hours cleaning the apartment today. Considering I've never cleaned on my own before, I am very proud of myself. I feel slowly and steadily my ADHD tendencies can be replaced by good domestic wifey ones :)

I got the weirdest cat call last night, and it's left me with some pretty conflicting feelings.

My SO and I were gross and sick all day alternating between soup and tea, long story short, we ran out of TP at 11pm. So I threw on my university hoodie, pulled up the hood and tried to make my way to the nearest 24 hour corner store on a rowdy Saturday night. Now, between my place and the store are 3-4 major gay clubs and bars. And sure enough I get a "hey big man! You from University?"

So, I'm kinda offended to have been mistaken for a dude when I'm dressed down and not wearing and make up. But... At least I'd be a cute dude still worthy of cat calls...
