So... I can actually shed some real light on this one, because disturbingly, I got WAY too close to that world without even realizing. Cool dude I met through the friend group, older guy, like, 35 or something, but our friends were all a bunch of nerds and gamers and stuff, and it was like, ehhhhh, who cares, y'know? So I'm like 23, hanging out with everyone, and get chatting. This dude and another both like LSD, I have some great acid at the time, so we're like fuck yeah, let's trip together!

Anyway, he puts on Evangelion, which, if you've never had any introduction to evangelion, starting with 2.2 then 3.3 evangelion on two tabs of potent LSD is a fucking WEIRD place to begin, short only maybe of EoE. Anyway, this was my first experience with anime, and there was one scene where the kid is feeling up some chick in a coma or something? I can't remember exactly, but basically, teenaged boy molests a teenaged girl, and the older dude asked something while I was SUPER high like, "So yeah, what do you think about that?" really... specifically? I can't remember much of what was said during the movies, but that stood out because I was like, "uhhhh... that happened, I guess, this anime is WEIRD."

Anyway, later on in the night, he breaks down in tears. Starts going on about how he's a terrible person, won't give any context... and is just, generally down on himself. I'm like hey, nonono, it's okay, what's wrong, nah, we all feel like bad people, but I think humans are just blank slates! I go on this long speech about how we're all capable of good or evil, nobody is a 'born evil'... anyway, the night goes on, I nearly got decapitated with a katana at one stage, then ended up walking 20 miles across the city with a homeless random I met, it was a weird night.

Few years later, I noticed this dude wasn't in the friendship group, or on social media, he'd just... poofed! I asked what happened, and it was WEIRD, cuz nobody would say a single thing about this guy, and I was like, uhhhhh... wtf y'all why are you pretending he didn't exist, wtf is going on? I asked more and more, until someone was like, listen dude, stop asking, he went to jail. I was like, "Wtf, WHY?" and the guy just looks really awkward, and just says four words:

"Child sex slave ring."

And I'm like, OH. I've never heard four words that ever painted such a comprehensively terrible picture. The only other info I got was he's not coming out of prison, so... yeeeaaaah, it was BAD.

And... that's when I realized, how terrifyingly subtle the 'secret handshake' is. They subtly make little references or allusions to it, gauge someone's interest with something minor, and then amp it up from there. The dude knew I had dated someone who was short a few years back, so I guess he felt I might be an... urgh, 'candidate'? That's how these people work, they sniff one another out, and then apparently there's this 'code'. I found out more about that in later years from others when I told this story, pedos protect pedos. Judge who is secretly a child molester gets a defendant? Soft sentence. Cops find a politician diddling kids? Oops, evidence gone. Ironically, it's why they're an illuminati like community, because by virtue of their tastes, they are our enemy and as a society, we want them hunted down and REMOVED. That polarization elicits a reflexive counter cohesion, so not only do they protect one another, but they actually help out one another, there's HUGE money in pedo rings apparently. It's almost akin to a religious community in a creepy way.

Predates the internet, too- the UK parliament is apparently the worst for it, but the church has had it since the dawn of time, Epstein obviously had most of the richest and most powerful by the balls with his dirt. Epstein's death wasn't meant to ever be seen as a suicide- it's these fuckers sending a message; you don't fuck with the pedo-deep-state, they can get you no matter where you are, make it obvious and get away with it.

Honestly... I believe a lot of the evil and corruption in the world is, if not directly part of, closely associated with these fuckers. The more you find out about that side of things, the more fucked up it becomes. It's not one side, but there's a few documentaries and podcasts that reveal how much it's infested through the world like metastatic cancer. Can't say to what extent, nobody knows, but the whole 'pedo super cult' thing isn't as much of a tinfoil hat conspiracy as you'd think, they're just everywhere.

So at one point, pedo-dude explains that he's got a fun activity... apparently, there's this small shrub in his backyard that regrew amazingly every time he cut it up up, and it was fascinating- it always seemed to regrow so fast, it was like it just regenerated like wolverine. The other person there takes their turn... and like, apparently they did golf or something, cuz oh BOY did they follow through. Like, they SWUNG and then did a full blown motherfucking pirouette with the katana, like, as much swing through as you could literally make with it fully outstretched and did a literal 360 spin to land facing forwards. Now, I was... standing back, relatively speaking, to what I considered a safe distance if person #3 did the same as the other two of us, but this fucking psycho does this shit, and the other guy is like, "DUDE WHOA jeez you nearly hit me!" and I just kinda go, "...HRK!"

See, I'm holding my neck, which is BLEEDING. I've got a teeny, TINY scratch on my throat, just a papercut from the tip of a katana. Like, it maybe bled 3 drops of blood, but on acid that feels intensely MORE than that when you get cut. It was a sharpened blade too, apparently the weeb pedo took good care of his mallninja katana... so, another inch and I'd have bled out.

It was... uh. Not a great experience. Weirdly, it wasn't even like, 'magical' oh my god I came so close to death on acid, it was actually just super fucking stressful and not cool. As far as my LSD stories go, I've got plenty of fun ones, that night is one of the ones where I'm like, "...yeah, life lesson learned, trip with people who aren't pedos or people who cut your fucking throat hey."

I think the only reason why they call him a peadophile is that they caught him first in the undercover operation and that they now have both been convicted of it.

Nowhere in the article do they mentioned whether an evaluation or not has happened and whether the man has previously been convicted of it. Considering both of them were put on a sex offenders list for life after the sentencing was issued, that means the man has not been convicted for any sexual offence in the past.

So what you're saying doesn't hold up to scrutiny, the judge called them both paedophiles. For MSM, they will generally adhere to a specific dichotomy of trying to reduce or obfuscate information for the person or people they want to protect and use the correct language for the person or people they want to apply a normal standard towards. Another example of this would be the grooming gangs in the UK and how the media, as well as the police, handled it in the past.

You're right, the actions she took are absolutely evil. Pedophilia is not an action somebody takes. Rape is an action somebody takes. But you cannot charge a person with pedophilia, you charge them with a multitude of things like rape, child abuse etc. But Pedophilia is a mental illness. Mental illnesses are not crimes. A person acting on any urges they might have as a result of being a pedophile is a crime and is undeniably inexcusable and claiming it happened because they are mentally ill will not excuse them to any extent, but if they don't act on those urges you don't charge them with a crime.

The main reason I stress this so much is because it's important to let pedophiles who are aware of what they are seek the professional medical help they need so that they can avoid acting on their urges. When you treat the mental illness itself as a crime then you scare people who want to seek professional help away from seeking help, and that has the potential to make them a risk to others.

Is the goal to inflict vengeance on pedophiles or is it to protect children from harm?

I find the situation similar to the drug war. It's all a reactionary response instead of a prevention approach. Go after the source of the problem. Right now predators operate in the shadows. Wouldn't it be better to give them incentive to come out of hiding and seek help? That would prevent children from getting harmed which I think is the better goal of the two.

I’m not defending her, I’m simply trying to correct the incorrect information in here. Sexually abusing a kid does not automatically make you a pedophile. sexually abusing someone of the same sex doesn’t automatically make you gay, does it?

Sexual abuse is a wide range of things. It’s not just rape. We don’t know if she raped the child, and we definitely don’t know that she was sexually attracted to the child. There have been many cases just like this one where someone did things like this not for their own satisfaction but for their partners, who often is actually abusing and controlling them. Being educated and using that knowledge is not disturbing. Are lawyers that know the difference between sexual assault and rape and will tell you those differences because they actually matter "disturbing"?

Facts matter. Definitions matter. Calling someone a rapist because they wolf whistled at someone across the road is wrong, wouldn't you say? That's sexual assault too, but it's not rape, so calling it rape is wrong. Without further details of what actually happened, you can't call someone a "rapist pedophile" when all you have to go on is that they sexually assaulted a child. The specifics legitimately matter.

Take off your outrage goggles for one second and try and understand that I'm purely talking about the correct definitions and terms for these things. Unless you are sexually attracted to a pre-pubescent kid then you're not a pedophile no matter what heinous abhorrent acts you do to them. Unless you actually perform a physical sexual act with someone against or without their consent you are not a rapist. There are many types of sexual assault that are not rape.

The punishment the offender is liable for is exactly the same

Legal punishment yes assuming sentencing is dealt evenly between genders. However of the two terms which one is far more emotionally/socially charged and as such has a greater reaction when heard by someone?

Consider just the terms used: "sexual activity [without consent]" vs "rape". Even though the latter is just one word it carries far more weight despite the former having the possibility of dealing with essentially the same conditions.

Additionally the former can cover things which the latter doesn't due to nuance. The latter is quite straightforward regarding what it addresses while the former, with the label of "sexual activity", can address a lot of different things.

That's one of the big problems with having the distinction, regardless of judicial outcome.

I believe changes to prejudiced views and beliefs reinforced by media outlets have been ubiquitous throughout time and this was achieved by people altering what was conceived as "normal" becuase it shouldn't be.

Cancellation or boycott of media or generally speaking information, shouldn't be sought for, everytime some people don't agree with what they're being showed, or "offended" by it, then spreading of information comes to a complete hault. Cause no matter how broad-minded and equal and accepting a video/article/ or even a picture, there are gonna be people who have issue/s with it. No matter what you do, there's gonna be atleast one who closes their eyes and open's their mouth, to just oppose whatever you bring forth.

If we're out there to "cancel" everything out there, just cause it doesn't make "everybody" happy, then nothing will be there for people see, listen to, share etc.

Once we alter our state of mind, and how we think, the media will change on its own. The shit it spews, is to pander to our likes and to give us what we want to hear, just to make money off it. That's all they care about. Period.

Once we, a majority start changing what we believe in, and demand a similar change in the information brought to us, only then.

The problem is that the headline is meant to inform you of what the article contains. They KNOW most people only read headlines. This also makes it that most people who don't care to read the rest will just mentally register "her: sexually abused, him: paediphile". Let's be real here, the latter has much darker connotations. Sexual abuse can mean a wide range of things today. Not like you can misinterpret "paedophile", right?

I'm just saying that headlines are half the newspapers income basically. They live off partly the headlines cause most people aren't bothered reading the rest and they know this. They can influence people easily.

That said, I've no idea if it was intentional or not considering they might simply have wanted to "not reuse words in a sentence" as many of us have been taught not to. Regardless, it's OK to get a tiny bit mad at this way of portraying the issue on a headline.

Pedophilia is a mental illness, not the actual act of molesting a child. The lady likely made the videos at his request for his own gratification which would make him a pedophile, but not necessarily her (although she still very well could be one).

This doesn't in any way lessen her crime, I'm just pointing out that pedophiles are the people who are actually attracted to children. A criminal that makes CP for a living may do so because they find it to be lucrative, but not necessarily because they are attracted to children. Being a pedophile neither lessens or worsens the act of sexually exploiting a child because it doesn't have any direct bearing on how the act of molesting effects the child in question.

It's important to make this distinction, because somebody who has pedophilia might not necessarily actively rape children and could very well be actively seeking professional help for their psychiatric disorder.

Basically, you don't charge a person with pedophillia, you charge them with rape and child abuse etc.

We don't know how severe the abuse was. And transmission of images is an easy crime to prove in and of it's self.

Wtf the woman did this sex abuse on the toddler 8 times, and admitted to 20 sex offences to children. She got 13 years. The man admitted to 12 sex offences to children. He got 11 years, like wtf.
