It depends on what your career goals are. I graduated with my bachelors at 26 and masters at 29. I felt so behind and self-conscious at the time, now it doesn’t matter and I’m at the same place as others who graduated younger in our field. You literally quit caring about this once it’s done. And as a 39 YO who does get tasteful Botox and filler regularly, I can tell you I wouldn’t be able to afford it if I did not have my education and career.

This reads like you think plastic surgery is going to be the answer to finding a relationship and it’s just not the case. Improving your physical appearance through healthy living and feminine beauty practices is great AND you can do that while pursuing career goals AND pursuing relationships. Practicing femininity and your relationship skills will get you much further than surgery. There is a very clear path here to get everything you want and I think you are stressing yourself out unnecessarily.

Marketing has a ton of sub fields and specializations you could try out. If you take some time to study up on ChatGPT that's a BIG skill right now. You can also go into sales, realestate, programming, fitness instruction, bookkeeping, medical billing, phlebotomy, hair dressing, and a few other jobs with little more than a 6 month certificate or training.

If it makes you feel any better; wanted to be married by 22 and my dream job is still SAHM and active volunteer in my community. I got messed around a lot by men who future faked me and were using me as a placeholder even though I had ascribed to RP tenants early in life. I had to upgrade my appearance the non-traditional way to escape the pattern. I wasn't even overweight or out of shape, just ugly. Met my fiance at 29. Currently building our dream home and super stoked to have kids. So, there's time!

This just isn't true. You have time. You're taking finding a partner seriously. You're likely going to be fine. As for careers, you can do a lot with administrative work. Secretaries are still needed, though they often go by the title administrative assistants. School support staff is also a great option, especially if you want kids, because the schedule is a teacher's schedule. Library media aides, secretaries, teacher's assistants, and even substitutes don't need a degree in most cases.

Please please do not listen to the people here who are telling you to forgo an education in lieu of finding a man. Life is much more than gaining a guy’s approval, and great guys want at least some level of education in a woman. Also the wall is a ridiculous notion and you can build a living for yourself while dating and getting married. These are NOT mutually exclusive events, and most often occur simultaneously. Perhaps you should reframe your thinking to “motherhood-friendly careers” instead of wall friendly. You have soo much more value than an arbitrary timeline. Many of the careers people listed here have poor wages (and unless you want to live in a small town in the Midwest, you’ll be struggling). Your best bet is to actually INVEST in yourself, earn a living with enough to put aside for retirement, 529 plans for your kids, and additional brokerage accounts to grow wealth. Stay in touch with your feminine, don’t give up that loving side, and keep dating for marriage/family. You can quit your career after you’re a mom, but for now, don’t worry about that part!

Unless you're planning to go to school for nursing, md, engineering, lawyer, IT, etc then it may be a waste of your time and money. Most degrees don't help a ton. Experience does. Need to figure what you actually want to do then proceed from there. There's no reason to accumulate student debt just to not be able to get a job to pay it back. There are certifications and trades you can learn that don't cost nearly as much as college.

As for your appearance, unless you've been in a terrible accident I wouldn't recommend surgery. Going to the gym, eating healthy, and thinking more positive about yourself will work wonders. You'd be surprised at how much your facial appearance will change just by losing weight and eating foods that weren't created to destroy you physically and mentally. Most makeup and skin products were created to make your skin worse so you'll always need them. So not using them at all or at least using natural products will also make a big difference. Cutting out sugar, alcohol, limiting carbs, and drinking more water will have you glowing.

Plastic surgery is rarely the answer because if you plan to have kids then your kids will look like the old you and not the new you. Most men don't care as much as the media portrays when it comes to fake asses, lip injections, fake boobs, etc. Natural is usually preferred. Also those injections are literally poison.

I would write down the person that you want to be and the person you're looking for in specific detail. Read it daily and when you're tired of reading it daily read it some more. Things will start to appear before you know it. Blessings!

At the university here many doctorate candidates are pregnant or with young children. Why not look for a partner and study at the same time? If you balance it well it makes you more flexible.

dental hygienist? 1.5 years plus an exam and 65-85k a year for salary. Administrative, customer service, or support staff in a school or hospitals are great "no school needed" options.

It's never too late to invest in yourself educationally or otherwise! Get a solid fitness routine and start reading books on personal development...you'll be in a relationship in no time!

This reads like you want to do one thing at a time. Work on yourself. Then a degree. Then a husband. Honestly you have to do it all at once. I did my undergrad bachelors then I did medicine, and as I was mid to late twenties I had to manage finding a husband alongside my demanding study schedule. It’s not easy, but it can be done. You need to multitask. In terms of what to study, only you can decide that based on your interests. My mum was a teacher and that always seemed a nice stable flexible job. xo

I feel if I attempted to get one that too much time would pass (&I'd hit the wall), I wouldn't have enough money in the short term to improve my physical appearance (I need plastic surgery), and/or it would be in a field that wouldn't make enough money.
