I think in certain circumstances, a woman may not have another cock in waiting. What you should remember is how easy it is for a woman to get laid. My sister did it. It was an odd RedPill experience, because she called me on the phone, almost in tears.

I've had 11 relationships in my life, 7 of which were sexual. Of the 11 relationships, I dumped two women, and neither time did I have a woman lined up. Of the 9 relationships in which I've been dumped, one dumped me without having a guy lined up, and she dumped me because she knew that I was still in love with someone else. I have to say yes. If he's not being alpha (attractive) or beta (provident) or a combination of the two, and he's costing her resources, and she doesn't feel a sense of hope that things will change, and she lacks an organised moral framework that says she needs to stick with him under the circumstances. Eventually one day she's going to look at him and see a leech not a man, and it is all over from that point on, just a matter of time.

But in practical terms, any women with any sort of SMV at all have men waiting for them whether they think about those men or not. So functionally it works out the same for her as if she'd left with a branch she was looking to swing to. And culturally that known availability of men plays into general attitudes about leaving, even if she's not personally eyeing up the next branch.

It's pretty easy... If the relationship is good, they will stay in it. If it's half good, they might replace for someone better. If it's no good at all, they will dump no matter what they have or have not lined up.

There's also the thing that some women have many men drooling at them and even if the woman thinks she will spend some time alone, it might not be the case once she's single and all the guys see the green light. My ex still thinks I was cheating on him with my current boyfriend because we started dating 2 weeks after he dumped me, while in reality I just wanted to be alone... but he kind of picked me up with the right methods.

Depends what you mean by "lined up". I met a man I was attracted to and had more in common with than my then husband. One who enjoyed the same things I did things that I could not get my then husband to try much less enjoy (wine tasting, theatre, fine dining-nothing extreme). So meeting him let me see there were men who would share these things with me. I knew I would never be in a long term relationship with this man though. We are still friends 12 years later and I didn't end my relationship to be with him, but to find someone more compatible.
