I agree completely. As a gay man there are so many places where I can complain, air grievances or just say outlandish things like kill all breeders. But the second I say something like I am proud to be a man, or do anything I listed before as 'only' a male, I get bombarded by people shoving obscene morality down my throats. Guess what? I am proud to be male (and I like males that are manly but that is a story for another time). I think that I face unique challenges in society because I am male and if I say that I get gawked at for being so bold as to claim that being male means I am anything but super privileged. The so-ju-wos seem to not be able to comprehend that societal forces might act on me and for reasons that are not because I am a minority.

It really angers me when I can state the same thing twice, once as a male and once as a gay male. When a say it in the second way people actually listen. Like somehow everything changed and societal structures are allowed to oppress me again as long as I am a gay male because those darn straight males have it so much easier because no societal structures does anything but excel them. Yes, I would say I do use this place to vent off some frustration for not being respected as a male, because that is something that I have built my life around and think represents who I am.

This is the one of very few venues that I don't have to prefix, caveat, or qualify something I write because I might hurt someone's feelings. You know, how men in men's spaces used to act.

I've realized that in my 30+ years on this planet, I've only had a brief moment of being part of men's space. All the sports I did were co-ed. All clubs in college were co-ed. Getting pissed off at being sold a bill of goods that turned out to be false isn't bitter.

The bitterness comes from feeling like you are still owed better and that someone else could have done so, should have done so, but didn't.

Then there's getting pissed off from people still saying things that you know aren't true.

Why don't women just admit what they want?

At least gold diggers are honest about their motivations.

And then you have to reconcile that you have to become a "bad" person in some ways -- according to the things people told you your whole life -- in order to navigate accurately. Things like not listening to what she says but going by her actions, and being self-centered and largely ignoring her rather than helpful and attentive to her every need.

Then there's the problem of reconciling that you can't hold women to the same standard you held yourself to all that time. She's been going by the "self centered" thing all along! When you start to do it, you become an "asshole". A bunch of double standards start popping up because men and women are actually different, like you always knew but were brainwashed out of. And most of those double standards aren't in your favor.

And then on top of that, you find out that society still regards women as the angels you used to think they were, and praises them for everything, while condemning you for not being a woman, even though you did everything "right". They tell you to get married to a woman and she eviscerates you in a divorce and society applauds her for it.

There are a lot of head-on collisions that fuck with your beliefs about right and wrong and what works and doesn't and what you're supposed to do.

The bitterness comes to an end when you understand that whomever you think owes you something actually couldn't have done better. Her instincts tell her what to do in those situations, and to hide her intentions or motives. Plausible deniability is very important for survival.

Whose fault is it really? It's just a mismatch of expectations with reality.

If you knew in advance how to behave and what her responses would be, and your value system was tuned to match, you wouldn't be upset.

But society pawned off a social contract upon you with unenforceable provisions that have nothing to do with reality, just some design-by-committee consensus that they decided YOU and SHE need to adhere to.

She tries to live up to the appearance of it, because that's the best she could do. She didn't design these rules herself, or pick out her genome from a menu: "Hypergamy with a side of slut, please." She didn't get to live her life and FIND OUT what she was like, and then go back and tell you how she actually worked. Most of it she didn't even know about until it happened to her. And then she also has trouble accepting it because of the social narrative.

Imagine you and your buddy got your genomes sequenced, and they told you, "the good news is, you aren't going to get leukemia in 5 years like your buddy. The bad news is, in 5 years you're going to start craving the cock."

That's basically what happens to girls 5 years after the cooties phase.

So, society sticks you with this values system that doesn't mesh with reality, giving you certain expectations that you take very seriously. When someone doesn't live up to it, it comes across as a serious moral failing. But this is just an invented system that fails in its predictions because it does not track reality closely (or at all, sometimes) and thus does not reflect Nature.

In addition to the defective values system, they gave you a defective guide to interpersonal conduct; once again, what a committee thought would be nice but it doesn't work because Nature isn't like that. It says if you do A, then B will happen, but B doesn't happen. Sometimes the other person will pretend to B, because they know it's what is expected, but it isn't genuine.

It's like that martial art (clips on YouTube) where the master uses his "chi" to send students tumbling around the room without touching them. They are just pretending to feel it and play along. Then some guy comes along and challenges him and punches him in the face repeatedly. The old master then makes an excuse that he WOULD HAVE used his super power except that it's so deadly, it kills ordinary people immediately, and that his students train for years to be able to withstand it enough to only get pushed around by the energy rather than killed outright.

Likewise, the woman is playing along with what people say she's supposed to do, until she can't pretend any more and then the reality punches you in the face.

It's not that different from Siegfried and Roy when the tiger finally chomped on Roy. It put up with all these bullshit rules for years but its nature finally asserted itself.

If society told you tigers were little pussycats and then you got mauled and nearly killed, you'd be bitter all right.

But if you know that a tiger is a tiger, you act accordingly.

Is anyone angry at or bitter toward tigers for being tigers? It's just what they are. They can't help it. The tiger who took a bite out of Roy didn't even know he was going to do that until he did it. He grew up in a fake tiger society that told him he was some non-man-eating show kitty and that he didn't actually want to do what it felt like he wanted to do.

Tigers are good at being tigers and bad at being someone else's externally-imposed idea of what would work for a magic show.

Women are good at being women and bad at being society's design-by-committee model of what would be "nice" for a public show.

To understand the effect on her of your behavior when you do what society tells you to do, imagine if she gained more and more weight and got bitchier and bitchier because society told her to do that.

You did everything right according to the rules, but the rules were actually for the game "Fictional Society with Fictional People".

Then one day, you find out you've actually been playing in the "Real Life" setting where the Fictional rules are way off, but it's hard to learn a new game, and when you look at the "Real Life" rules they look stupid and unfair, and all your buddies still play Fictional rules and you're really good at following those rules (even though you still haven't gotten either The One yet, or the Pussy Magnet power-up) and still think you can accomplish your objectives by sticking to the fictional rules, in the non-fiction game.

You can even see the women appear to be playing by the Fictional rules, but then you notice they are actually playing a hybrid style and taking game pieces and tokens off you when you interact, except without giving you anything in return. Then they give pieces to other players instead of you, and all those players are using Nonfiction rules.

The game ends up being better for you and worse for her in Reality because the power ends up accumulating on your side of the board at an accelerating rate. She starts losing all her pieces and you start gaining pieces from multiple other girls.

Yet most guys will still cling to the Fictional rules against their own self-interest, because they still think the Big Payoff, "THE ONE" card is sitting there somewhere in the Community Chest or Chance piles.

When you look at the Nonfiction rules, that card is not even part of the game. Sometimes the guys get a piece here or there from a Pink player and think that piece must represent "THE ONE", but then the piece gets repo'd.

And if it's not part of the Nonfiction rules then that game is stupid! "I've been trying to unlock that achievement since the game started and I'm not going to play some edition of the game that doesn't have that as a card or a gamepiece!" They accumulate a whole bunch of blue pieces to attract pink pieces, only to see the pink pieces go to players using 3 dark pieces instead.

The normal guys keep acting against their own self-interest and get angry at the girls.

Even when it turns out that the Fictional rules are PG-13 and never actually specify how the pink pieces work! They just said to accumulate blue pieces, and pink pieces are supposed to follow. Since you only play with blue pieces, you went by those rules.

Girls had pink pieces, but they needed details on how they worked! So they checked out the Nonfiction rules (which are explicit) and that's how their Hybrid system got started... But it's full of stuff the Fictional rules say is bad (like the part about the Dark pieces) so they don't want to talk about it, and then they don't want to even think about all the stuff it says happens after Turn 30.

Those rules are so scary, they retreat back into the comforting blue glow of the Fictional rules as much as possible. You guys are all playing that way after all!

Then the blue players are like, "where are your pink pieces? You never want to trade, you give them to Red players or Dark players, and now I find out I've been working against my own self-interest this whole time! And I still kept doing it anyway even after I knew, all for an endless supply of pink pieces I was told I was going to get by these stupid rules I know are wrong!"

Well, the Fictional rules came about one day when someone decided they didn't like the Nonfiction rules. They typed up a new sheet of rules and stuck it in the "Real Life" box that still had the Nonfiction game board, cards, and game pieces.

You never actually read the rules yourself, you learned to play with other people who were using the new Fictional house rules. Sometimes you wondered what that glossy booklet in the box was, the one people would almost never take out and look at, but they all told you it was the OLD rules and nobody uses them any more.

I can relate with my work. After ten years or so in IT start-up culture you realise that the idea of working hard and becoming successful is not the typical progression of a startup.

Hard work, a good idea, immaculate execution, and good timing - those are the minimum cost to entry. Everyone brings this to the market, and then nine out of ten fail.

Having these childhood/young adult dreams shattered made me quite bitter professionally. I guess its the same when people realise the unique and beautiful thing they have with their partner is not all they thought it was.

My last GF was about 5 and 1/2 years ago. She cried and cried and cried when we broke up. I'm so empathetic I never wanted to deal with that kind of break up again. I ain't been laid since. Its common to go through a stage of bitterness / disdain for women once you go down the rabbit hole..but once you've swallowed the redpill you actually become more happy in my opinion..well as someone who views/lives life as a game of chess, knowing the truth, no matter how cruel and unfair it may be is a reliever and allows me to adjust accordingly to accomplish what i need too. They can behave however they are, but they will always have certain cat traits injected into everything they do and however they are - the dogs see this and apply it to the way that they think about and judge the actions and behavior patterns of other dogs... and are kind of disgusted with the ways the cats are, and even more disgusted at their fellow dogs who have been manipulated by the cats into behaving the way THEY want these dogs to behave - while abusing this faith these brainwashed dogs are putting into their cat-masters, because that is how cats are - self-centered - dogs don't understand this because their instinct for self-preservation and servicing of their biological imperative comes through cooperation, so they grow more and more disgusted with the cats they see, and more and more "bitter" the more they learn about how the cats generally behave - what they don't understand is that the cats are different than dogs, there is nothing "evil" or "hate filled" or "anti-cat" about saying this - they are a different breed and species, who think differently, feel differently, are shaped differently - and the cats drive for self-preservation and the way they service THEIR biological imperatives which underlie most if not the great majority of all actions in the cat's life is NOT through cooperation with the motive as mutually beneficial action - but as SINGLE, INDIVIDUAL UNITS/hunters - who CAN CO-EXIST with other cats, but do NOT act as a co-operative unit in all things to service their biological imperatives like dogs are programmed by nature to do.

Men must provide value to others in order to be accepted in the pack/tribe/have friends/maintain friends/make people like them/find a mate/maintain a strong family - so, if they have an internal tendency towards moral, higher minded principles in life(philosophy), or honorable conduct/a feeling of justice, they will seek out and try to provide mutually beneficial action which they expect to be a. respected, and b. returned in kind when possible - as this is the dog's sense(man's sense) of "how things are supposed to be" - as this is how things actually are for men / dogs. Cats and women, on the other hand, are individual units who seek to FIND SOMEONE or SOMETHING to provide them value, this is not a behavior motivated purely by selfishness, but as a means of self-preservation and preservation of her young and to provide her young/her litter with the best providers/protectors and best position she can GET from them in life.

Men and women are fundamentally different in that it is men's job to GIVE, and women's job to RECEIVE and TAKE/GET from others that which they do not need to (or can't, up until recently when the law of the jungle was replaced with the laws of man based on the internal bias towards moral / honorable cooperation which is a man's approach to life based on the proper servicing of his biological imperatives) provide for themselves.

Men wish they could find women who are also dogs themselves, and are consistently confused and disappointed when women behave like what they are - a different breed, not dogs but cats. Men are confused about things that women can see in each other's behavior and pick out and accept in each other a mile away, because they all do generally the same things, to service their biological imperatives. Their biological imperatives are based on self-serving principles (which are themselves based on service to her potential healthy offspring) - and many of them know this and recognize this in each other - some women hate other women because of this, and they have a hard time getting along with one another. Instead of fighting with other cooperating groups like men do when either or both groups perceive a threat to their servicing of their self-preservation and peaceful biological imperatives - using armies, countries, cities, etc. - organized groups of men who are able to cooperate with each other and function on a system of honor - women fight amongst themselves, they have drama with each other, fight each other, hate each other, try to get a leg-up on everyone, they fight other INDIVIDUALS, again, when either or both women perceive a threat to their servicing of their position being used for self-preservation and peaceful biological imperatives. They try to get things for themselves(which is naturally motives as a way to get things for their offspring - it is not simply "for themselves" or purely selfish or petty behavior, although men perceive it that way).

MEN DON'T UNDERSTAND WOMEN AND WILL NOT THINK HONESTLY ABOUT WOMEN, HAVE BEEN INDOCTRINATED BY FEMINISTS NOT TO SEE WOMEN AS PEOPLE, BUT AS A SPECIAL GROUP ABOVE AND BEYOND ALL REPROACH OR CRITICAL THINKING(or you must just "be bitter and a loser" and/or "hate all women you evil misogynist!), LITERALLY. This is why, when dogs "wake up" to CATS NOT BEING THE SAME AS DOGS, they "seem bitter". Because they are wishing for cats to behave like dogs, are confused and let down when they don't, and idiotic women and other dogs don't get it, so they are called "bitter". A lack of understanding and a lifetime of being personally slighted creates bitter people.

Everything a woman is about in her personal life is about herself, which is the beginning of the extension of herself which is to eventually become her children - they can tolerate dogs, and even want things for themselves from the dogs, but they are all about themselves as they can be and are programmed to be so by NATURE. Dogs, on the other hand, are programmed by nature to be by normal standards "good people", providers of love/good things/food/stuff of value/friendship to others in order to service their biological imperatives. The weird, sociopath loser guy you know who smokes weed all day, plays video games, tries to scam everyone, and could not have a real communication with another man or human being if his life depended on it, but SOMEHOW is able to game all the girls he knows into thinking he's so super duper cool is because WOMEN UNDERSTAND AND IDENTIFY WITH SELFISH, SELF-CENTERED, EGOTISTICAL(SELF-SERVING), SEEMINGLY INSANE(in the eyes of "good dogs") MEN. They respect interpersonal ambition, because that is how women are programmed to function - men are programmed to function within the framework of interpersonal cooperation (and childish, extremely petty, selfish action will get you thrown out of it and shunned unless you can put together a little group of stupid thugs who are dumb enough to follow you to break off from the bigger tribe) even though there will be a social hierarchy of (hopefully) worthy males being at the top who can lead the less-worthy ones in their efforts - the difference is interpersonal honor, it is that vs. women's biological imperatives being best served by being like cats - co-existing but being essentially service-to-self oriented, and they will use any dogs to serve themselves who they can get to as well, looking for one to 'sweep her off her feet' while providing her all of the things she wants for herself(that is, wants for her potential children and their position within the social group - expressed in all the things which makes a man attractive to her).

Human beings have no problem talking about men as pigs, monsters, and animals. This is something that is done all the time on tv, in all of our popular culture, in movies, on talk shows, etc. Men kill millions, and take over entire countries by force, we ALWAYS want to have sex(biological imperative #1 or 2! reproduce!) - women, on the other hand, we're not even allowed to think critically about, and the general response(by women, as they always try to turn everything into a personal attack against you rather than a consideration of and discussion about the abstract issue you bring up that they don't like to hear) is "oh you must have been hurt" "you're bitter", when in reality you are just realistically evaluating a portion of the population of human beings.

Did you ever have a little sister who was really a horrible little selfish bossy monster who didn't know she couldn't treat other people like her toys because no one was going to yell at her because "oh she's just a little angel", and whenever she got in trouble she'd pretend to be that poor little angel? Maybe she'd a few tears and act hurt? It's like that. Those girls are just people - they learned to manipulate interpersonally to benefit themselves and save themselves from social harm or loss of position, which for them will be about their survival and the wellbeing of their eventual young - not angels who have no negative side to their basic natures. To answer the question "why do their seem to be so many bitter men here in TRP", men these days are taught/indoctrinated their whole lives not to think critically about women as a group in our species in basically ANY way at all, and taught to hope that women will just treat them well(the way men are supposed to and expected to treat women, you see), while women(being PEOPLE, HUMAN BEINGS), consistently abuse this behavior and thinking in men. They come here having never thought about women critically, being convinced that would make them "bad people". This leads to horribly misunderstanding women as a part of this species, and horribly failed relationships, and just general disappointment knowing that THEY(the men) would never treat the women the way they were treated BY them - but women and men are different, and they don't know this yet, so they get "bitter". Expecting equal and good treatment from women just by virtue of existing in her life is the fastest way to get a woman to see you as pathetic, being disappointed by this instead of not caring is the other fastest way. They are cats. Cats are stupid and self-serving. They aren't REALLY stupid, but they SEEM that way to dogs who are more focused on mutually beneficial cooperation, mutual understanding, respectful social conduct, and all the things dogs naturally perceive as being more valuable and higher than the self-serving, self-centered actions of women/cats.

warning: we are talking in generalities, the whole point here is that women are people, and people are individuals who are not all alike, many having varying social views and ideas that influence their behavior which otherwise would be unchecked servicing of their biological imperatives, but people can be really bad. men and women though, generally BEING DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER, are a different KIND of bad to one another and other people, men understand other men and can understand their actions even if they disapprove of them - men do not understand the actions of women they approve of OR disapprove of, they just feel lucky if one likes them enough to let them sleep together. Women need to do more than a. survive, and b. reproduce. Women need to look out for their offspring, they are the one who carries and creates the offspring, this triggers the necessity for what men(the people trying to GET someone to LET THEM "give" the offspring) perceive as supremely selfish, petty, childishly self-centered and socially dumb behavior within the construct of the male model of mutual cooperation towards a MUTUAL goal, the girl's goal is NOT mutual with you unless you are servicing her biological imperatives and needs/wants, it is about herself - for herself - and for her young.

You have to BE HONEST about women, just like you are about men. Our whole society is dishonest with itself to some degree because it is largely coming from the tenets of Christianity and Catholicism which include dishonestly pretending a hopeful innocence in order to not "look bad in the eyes of the lord", from not masturbating to not practicing homosexuality, to not having sex for pleasure - our culture was, for a long time, about pretending not to be human, and just generally not being truthful with ourselves by and large about BEING human, or about the actions natural to and natural ways of being human. Women are people, there are a wide variety of them just as there are men.

Both genders are beautiful in their own ways and disgusting and stupid in their own ways, unique to them. This is the nature of having human beings divided into two groups who are different by nature.

Being bitter is a stage for us. In the society we live in, we've come to terms with the fact that we are imprisoned because our gender and that the warden is everywhere.

One step out of place, will cause heavy backlash and punishment. But being bitter accepting that fact. We are growing. Eventually, you will find yourself at a stage where you don't care for women and their ceaselessly growing demands of "equality," or their uselessly adamant attitude as to what they are entitled.

In reality, it is women who are the ones that feel they are entitled. Not men. Want proof? Try rejecting a woman for sex. I've done that. I've been accused of sexual assault by the same woman. Course, nothing happened. I'd just met her.

But you will grow beyond this, and you will be positive and will learn not to take shit nor mind it. Instead, you will lead women like they're sheep. You'll come to terms with manhood.

See, being a man is, knowing how to survive in whatever environment you are put in. Women can't survive like men can. Is that sexist to say? I hope so. Because nature is sexist. They can't adapt like we can. And this is a fact. Women will always need us.

So, when you are done with your journey, you reach peace. You will be at peace inside, and out. It won't just be an abstract idea or just words.
