I think porn is just as big a problem as jerking off too much. Having so many images and videos available so easily can't be good. I think back to how many videos I would have going at the same time, how many different girls I would jerk it to in the same session. Pathetic. I know people say the science (dopamine etc) may not be that solid but if I jerk it to porn for an hour (and time flies) I certainly feel like my nervous system has been fried. Too much stimulation.

I don't think our minds have evolved so as to be able to watch modern porn without it having detrimental effects on other aspects of our lives and our mindsets as men. Here's my observations;

I had done NoFap for 4 months. In those four months: - I ran a mile almost daily, 4-6 days a week.

I started doing body exercises, pushups, situps, etc. a month in.
I picked up reading, and read 3 books for the first time since forced reading in High School.
I re-wrote my project video game even though I had been dreading it for years. A lot of code needed touching up.
I got massively better at the video game I compete in.
I started cooking most of my meals.
The social anxiety I experienced at work was almost gone.

Here's me with my 8th month old girlfriend, having sex daily up until the past 2 months

Don't run. Go to the gym at most 2 times a week.
Work on my game as much as possible. Try to do 2 days a week at least.
Read daily. Have finished +10 books at this point. Most of them novels.
Video game life took a hit. This is not too bad as I'd rather be banging my chick.
Social anxiety isn't there but more of a numbness. I don't feel a reason to be talking to anyone.

Now I'm even posting this because I've gone 3 days without sex.
