Edit and an announcement for you guys given the success of this thread and many good ideas shared here.

I have been thinking about getting with others and creating a sub where guys of minority groups can come together and talk about race and dating successes/struggles. Given that Asian Masculinity has turned into some nationalistic sub that rarely allows decent discussions and always talks about how awful whites are and blames them for all of their issues in life, I feel like we need a sub that gets it right. If you would be interested in being a part of such a sub, PM me and let me know!

The thread again after the edit

Summary -

Given that this sub has a lot of readers of minority groups, I decided to make this post here. I talk about the one harsh red pill truth every single guy of a minority group has to be aware of in the game. The truth only applies to the USA as far as my experiences go so I am not sure how some guy growing up in Europe will see this. This might not apply to black guys but it does apply to guys of all other minority groups.

Post -

First and foremost, I want to make it clear that you need to be pretty far along in improving yourself before you can even consider this as a reason.

If you're some overweight guy with social anxiety, this thread is not applicable to you, you will struggle everywhere in the USA. On the other hand, if you're in amazing shape, have your life worked out, can approach girls without being nervous, and have invested a lot of time into improving your SMV but are still struggling, you might want to think about this.

Now for the post.

As an American guy of Japanese heritage, I have found that for some minority groups, especially Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, and Hispanic men (those that don't look white) is that no matter what your SMV is, location plays a big role in your success with the opposite sex, especially when it comes to going interracial.

Growing up on the west coast of the United States, I always dated girls of various races and people thought nothing of it for the most part. Then I went to school in the Mid-Atlantic northeast and ended up not having much success at all. I thought it might have been that I didn't look good enough, my personality was off, or maybe I was running the wrong kind of game. After an older Asian man saw me cold approach a girl and get flat out ignored, he would talk to me and tell me that I am in an area where people like me and him are not "good fits". I never got it but he said to me "just look around, how many Asian men in this area do you see dating girls of other races?".

He was right, now this was a little before Obama became president but he had a point. The place I went to college in had a lot of Asian guys, some of whom were not even the stereotypical Asian nerds or FOBs, and plenty of white girls as well. If that wasn't bad enough, even Asian girls avoided Asian guys of a higher value. Now these Asian guys were cool guys, they weren't all STEM nerds or immigrants with heavy accents, they were solid guys. While you did see a lot of white guys with Asian girls (as it happens everywhere), I never recall it happening the other way around. Black guys seemed to do quite well though.

I was seeing overweight, plain average, and lower value white guys having success with cute white girls while muscular Asian guys with a promising future were incel for the most part. Your average person could have easily said their game isn't strong or anything but the truth is, these guys were just in the wrong location.

Where I grew up, an Asian guy who is muscular, westernized, and has a good future ahead of him would be able to get good looking girls of all races or at least attract interest from them. Unfortunately, in the Mid-Atlanic northeast, that was far from the truth.

It is something I never got myself about the USA but I know it is true. In certain areas of the country, there are a race (or certain races) of men that are "it". "It" meaning that women avoid men of that race even if they have a high "SMV" because there is a strong stigma in that area towards dating or being with men of those races. I am not sure what kind of politics go into it but I know they are there alright.

So how do you know if your location is strongly working against you?

Just look around and be RATIONAL about it. If you're an Asian guy and you see higher SMV Asian guys who are incel for the most part, you can start accepting the fact that the location you're in is not favorable. Get to know these higher value guys of your race, if they're struggling despite their higher value while lower SMV white guys are having a lot of success, your location is really fucking you over. Chances are that somewhere in the culture of your area, girls are brainwashed at an early age to really hate guys of your race to where even a higher SMV will have you going well below your league.

We all know that good looking women will never go for guys that hurt their social standing and in some places, race has a lot to say about that social standing.

What is the takeaway?

I would personally like to share my knowledge about race and location here in the USA. In my experience, only black and white guys can do well with women in the Mid-Atlantic parts of the USA (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, etc.). I would strongly tell all Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern guys to stay away from this area if they want to have success socially and dating wise, the racism is pretty strong there outside of the really big cities.

I think this is really something that requires a lot of discussion and we could benefit a lot with guys who are of minority groups sharing what kinds of location they have had success in and which ones they haven't.
