Sexual pre-selection is real.
Women would rather bang a man who lives with his wife than a man who lives with his mother.

Yall know I don't defend women very often but I have to tell yall that not all women sleep with married men. there are some of us left that know that is wrong and draw the line with that bullshit. If you are a woman and go after married men, you are not my friend and I will cut you off. If you are a man and are married and cheat, to hell with you too. That is one subject I absolutely draw the line in the sand over. To me, if you've done it before you will do it again, whether you are man or woman. and I aint having nothing to do with either of them.

There is only one person in my life right now that would do that. I can't cut her from my life as she is family. Everyone that knows me know how I feel about it and they feel the same except for the one person. She would keep it from me to prevent an ugly scene because I would go off. I hate liars and cheats.

Thanks. He is a great man and lost the love of his life when mom suddenly died unexpectedly. They had been together since they were 15 years old. We are all he has left. So if dealing with my crazy sister is what I need to do I will do anything for him. God knows I put him through enough crap when I was younger.

Sounds like you have a great dad. And you're not the only person who put stress on their parents haha. But what you're doing for him now is what really matters.
[–]southerncraftgurl1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Oh i do, he is amazing. Always has been. I put them through literal hell with my drug use and they still love me, lol. I will never forget how happy he and mom were at my first sober holiday with them. I live with him now. We weren't close before I moved in but we have really got to know each other and are great roommates. and i get to spoil him rotten like mom would want me to. Yall would love him. He would fit in on this board and mensrights so good but I can't get him to try out reddit. He's a little stubborn, lol. Watching him have to realize that my sister is nuts has been horrible. They were always close since we were little. She's always been his girl. I love her dearly but I had to step back from her a bit. Having to realize she's nuts and a narcissist is bad for him and it's broke my heart to watch it. She's the kind of woman we talk about on this board. In a bad way. I think he and I both realized about her about the same time.
Believe me I know what you mean. I put my mom through hell with my drug use. It's a great feeling to be sober for family isn't it? Just remember that it's a great thing what you're doing for your pops but you've gotta take care of yourself first. Don't let anyone negatively affect you. I've also had family members that are like this sub and the people featured on this sub and it sucks sometimes but at the end of the day they're still family so I get exactly where you're coming from.
[–]southerncraftgurl2 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I learned from reddit actually to take a step back from her and just put some distance there. It's really helped. When we first argued I could tell dad was visibly upset by the whole thing. So i just picked up my phone, messaged her, took all the blame and said I'm sorry so we wouldn't fight bcause it was too much for him. He deserves more.
yes! it's so nice when my dad casually mentions something I did while still using and says "you don't act like that anymore".
I drink occasionally still but not a lot. Lately he and I have really been getting into bourbon and trying new ones that are hard to find. It's been so nice to have something like that to share with him. We are becoming bourbon aficionados!
He watches when I drink very carefully because he is probably scared I will go back to that way even though its been 17 years.
He gave up the career he loved for us. So I can not fight with my sister dammit.
I love to hate on reddit and troll it's users but it is a good website. I got a lot of help with problems on advice subs too. Man that's cool that you guys have a hobby you do together. I drink occasionally too I think me and you are the types to be able to stay clean without complete abstinence from alcohol. I'm sure you're dad is more proud of you than you realize. He can probably see what you do to keep the family together!
I dont know why but I've always been ok to just have a drink and not end up relapsing. But now pain pills are bad news for me. Dad even keeps his in his gun safe so I won't be "tempted". It's wierd being the one to keep everythign together. That had always been my sister. Now I can't even get her to call him sometimes ugh
I have learned so much on reddit. Little things like not giving your dog grapes nd big things too, especially how to deal with a narcissist. That board has REALLY helped me with her.
I get to ranting about women sometimes and he just cracks up.
I don't know a single addict who could resist pain pills lol. You can't force her to call trust me. I've had a similar situation with a family member not reaching out and it took years before we saw them again. It just takes time for a person's mindset to change. It cracks me up that you and your dad talk about women from a red pill perspective and you're a woman. Like, what kind of conversations do you guys have?
[–]soundsshemade 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Who keeps questioning you? You've been very honest the whole time and especially with yourself. What is there to gain from her starting a pointless fight?

How you got THAT statement out of my comment is beyond me. That is not what I said. How did you get that I am demanding provisions, security and resources? I have NEVER in my life been ith a man that made more money than me if that is important. I have never expected a man to "take care of me" either. There really are women that don't do that.
Hell guys, I am agreeing WITH you. Why are you jumping my shit so bad just because I agreed? I just also wanted you to know there are actually a few women out there that are monogamous and don't cheat.

Simply because they wanted it.

Don't blame them. Women always have and always will see men a subjects to govern and extract ressources of. And quite frankly I see them as objects useful for sex and company. No hard feelings. And what this illustrates is:
1) Preselection - the fact another woman picked him makes him more attractive. Makes other women think "hmm. She picked him. I'd like to find out what's so great about him!" The inimitable Roissy put it: "No woman wants a man that no other woman wants."
2) Women don't care one bit about sleeping with attached men, men in relationships, or married men. They don't care if you're married or in a relationship.
3) Some women like married men because (a) they're less likely to have STDs; and (b) they're much less likely to want anything other than sex, and (c) they're much less likely to be violent or abusive, or have severe substance abuse problems.
Some women don't want relationships. They want to "date" and "have fun", which means they want men to take them out on dates, make them feel "special", and if the mood strikes them, have indiscriminate sex.
[–]Deepscrew 45 points46 points47 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I’ve dated two women who declared, after a time, that they’d had an affair with a married man.
One said they were seduced, and it was over. This still didn’t sit well with me, but I got over it, and we ended up having a good relationship for a time (broke down due to other reasons).
The other, who I only had a few dates with, said it was her low point and she was ashamed. I took this as it was presented to me, and although I detest cheating in any form, was prepared to look beyond it, until I found out they were ‘still friends’ and he occasionally came around to help out with odd jobs… no thanks, massive red flag = good bye.

"(c) they're much less likely to be violent or abusive, or have severe substance abuse problems."
Not that is false. The point C is just uninformed. Women think ... they're much less likely to be violent or abusive, or have severe substance abuse problems Men actually are more likely to be violent and abusive if he goes out fucking other women while married.
It is all to give the women the illusion, brought on by herself and you, that she is dating more upward than she is. Women convince themselfes what dating up is, and bring this false sense of what "higher value" is based on african warlord tactics.

This does not surprise me. However, this could lead to some false rape allegations.
[–]AntiSocialPartygoer 88 points89 points90 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
Yeah! You actually made me remember a term called "rape by fraud" which I've first heard in a video from that woke Youtube channel called "The Take".
"But what would be this rape-by-fraud concept, mate?"
[Rape by fraud would be when a man lies about something (his relationship status, his financial situation, his job, etc) in order to get sex.]
As much as I think that (in some degree) lying to get sex is morally wrong, it's very problematic to frame it as a form of rape.
First, because it's dangerous. It's one more form of creating false rape allegations. Second, because it's extremely disrespectful towards rape survivors.
Imagine if "rape by fraud" becomes something inside the legislation?
[–]syp3r 58 points59 points60 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Rape by fraud should NOT BECOME A THING ..LIKE PLEASE DONT
Like if a man wanted a relationship, but changed his mind having sex
Or promising a woman a baby, but slips a condom on when she doesn't notice
Or any other variant of this stupid outcome
[–]DoTheSnoopyDance 47 points48 points49 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Think about how much women lie though. Not saying the courts would not screw men, but women lie about tons of stuff. Oh I’m single. Oh I don’t have kids. Oh I have x bodycount.
That’d be an interesting one. Yes your honor she said she’d only slept with 5 men but it’s 100. I wouldn’t have agreed to sex if I’d known that.
Edit: quickly to add, I’m not saying rape by fraud is a good idea or should be a thing, just saying women need to self reflect more and see if this is really as good a concept for them that they may think it is.

Honestly I have seen women lie about the most basic of stuff for absolutely no reason at all. Like that lie wouldn't even benefit them and yet they lie. They lie on instinct. I never feel bad for lying to women morally or otherwise. I don't like lying in general but don't mind lying to a woman. For most of them much of their existence is a lie.

I was in the same position.
The ladies flirted with my friend because they felt the pride of having another man’s attention despite him having a wife at home.
The other being the ring is somehow a sign that this man provides. If they can get even the slightest attention from him then they will be rewarded.
Sort of a stamp of approval from another woman folk that this man is either not creepy or will put in the effort to please a woman.
I’ve seen a portion of the ladies on social media have starting to really taken to this lifestyle because they don’t have to be loaded down with housework and be stuck raising the kids at home.
These ladies enjoyed being single, gets showered with gifts with trips, and can safely disengaged with the wife comes calling.
After that they’re free to find another target.

I gave you my upvote, But I have to disagree with you. My girlfriend, the love of my lifetime died exactly 6 years ago today from a seizure.
I am an attractive male, I actually used to model. While we weren't married we were a well known couple in the area. Both of us used to get unwanted attention all the time from members of the opposite sex.
When she died it flat out destroyed me. But nobody wanted to be around me because for the longest time (even today) I still grieved. Chicks don't want to have to compete. Divorce is easy. Women know you probably at the very least don't like your ex. When there is a major doubt you could even mean half of what the last love meant; women seek elsewhere.
I have only tried dating two women since and have given up. But I assure you, females do not like to have to put ANY work into the beginning of a relationship. I may have been someone's "catch" and "provider". But knowing she'll be sharing a soul with someone long gone is a HUGE put off for most women...

I became a widower when I was 30 to suprise cancer, back in 2018. I had/have a very different experience. I'm good looking, in a good place financially, and have interesting hobbies.
I truly loved my wife and she loved me. Not even 1 month after she passed did I have coworkers and female friends come on to me. Some were very aggressive. Women who were friends of friends that I'd never met were putting themselves in front of me. For the first time in my life I experienced REAL thirsty women. This went on for the next year or so.
The only reason I didn't take any up on it was because I was still processing what happened.
Eventually I started dating again and I have a healthy LTR.
My personality and mentality has always been life happens. There is no one, only good ones and bad ones, and life is what you make it. That might be where you and I differ. I dont talk about my late wife with my LTR unless she asks about her, and I just tell her she was a very sweet and good person and we loved each other very much.

I thank you for sharing. And let me first express my condolences for your loss. Just observed first hand a couple of years ago how quickly a cancer diagnosis can become a death when my mom died. F*** cancer!
I dig what you are saying, and I understand what you mean. And I will be the first to admit, after my girlfriend died, the idea of being with anyone other than her was not appealing to me. I think if I'm honest I was putting off a vibe that pushed people away for quite a while. I'm one of those personal space types of people too. It's harder for a chick to throw it on you when she has to practice pre-COVID social distancing. :)
But I had far more women slipping me their numbers and trying to wedge between my girlfriend and I, than I had women after me once she died. I honestly think for a lot of women that knew / heard our story knew they couldn't compete and didn't try. I mean, like my GF had done well over 100 skydives before we got together. But her seizures wouldn't let let jump anymore. She made me promise I'd do a dive (I did NOT want to) if circumstances ever allowed us to do a skydive together. So six months after her death I'm strapped to some dude with her ashes strapped to my chest. We jumped and I had the honor of spreading her ashes and laying her to rest.
Poems written to her, sketches and paintings of her (I haven't been able to do any artwork since the day she died.)...I honestly believe the vast majority of women realize they could never measure up.
u/IoSonCalaf what you posted IS probably more true to life. My bad.
I know THIS to be true. Old widowers can't bear being alone MUCH more than old widows. Dude at my mom's church was calling widows for lunch dates 4 days after his wife had been buried.

Sorry you lost her all of a sudden.
As the guys below attest, women don't think like guys. Men often like the idea of a down on her luck, fixer upper that they rehabilitate and bring back to life. We like the idea of a diamond in the rough, only needing a bit of cut and polish to bring out some stunning, hidden luster.
Women don't want that, they want the finished product.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm not the immoral one for wearing a ring on my left hand. Women are immoral for wanting to fuck guys they think are married.
And, all the times I've fucked around with women, I've never had any kind of accusation. You know what the trick is? Always make them feel good after you sleep with them and let them break up with you so they feel morally superior.
You're right about mitigating risk, the only thing missing is to make sure you're not jumping into a rebound situation. Most of the accusations from hookups I've seen at school came from girls who stormed out and decided they were going to break up, only to, after railing some fella for a night, come back to the BF the next day.
That's where the danger for hookup accusations comes from, a spineless lady who knows her bf won't keep her around if he figures out her complicity in her hookup. It's much easier to say she didn't want anything at all, it was forced! Now she can keep telling her friends she's engaged and plan that wedding without worry!

Yup. That's gonna be the tricky part I think. But, I'm gonna stick with my regular formula of treating them great after the hook up. I love to cook, so waking up early, making coffee (real coffee, not cheap store brand BS) and having breakfast prepped has never let me down. They always leave fed and feeling happy.

Deliberately deceiving women by acting like he's married when he isn't? That's immoral bro.
Again, he shouldn't do it, he's risking false accusations. Some women are vindictive and will ruin his life over him wronging them. It's not worth the risk just to get some pussy.
[–]Overlordofwhatever 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I disagree with the first part vehemently. It's the women who are immoral for wanting to sleep with guy who they think is married. But the 2nd part I kinda agree with. Not worth the risk. But every one in this scenario has freedom to choose so I don't see the big moral or ethical dilemma at all

I say he goes for it, he can take the fake ring off at any time.
I wore rings on a lot of my fingers except for my ring finger and still got attention. Even wearing one on the right hand works magic
[–]TheBakerRu 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Slavic countries wear their wedding rings on the right hand and not left. Got all kinds of looks when I went to Russia since I wear 2 rings on my right hand. Got asked if I'm married a few times.
[–]CerberusTheWise 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not really immoral, just taking advantage of immoral people. Think of it like this, there is a notorious porch pirate who likes to steal peoples packages in your neighborhood. A smart neighbor decides to put a fake package on his front door step, and the only thing in the package is a booby trap that spreads literal horse shit everywhere upon opening. Is the smart neighbor the asshole for for tricking someone into unknowingly having their home splattered with horse shit? Or is it the immoral thief who who stole the package?

If they were indeed outraged, what grounds do they have to be? That he was a liar? Well, that should be considered baked into the cake, as the very implication that he was cheating on his wife shows that he would be a dishonest man (lying goes hand in hand with cheating). Since the wife did not exist, the lie was simply placed on the women willing to sleep with a married man.
Also, it shows a real lack of ethics on the women's part if they are knowingly sleeping with a married man. So I see no standing for their outrage. Rather, it seems that they were mad about the fact that he used their own nature of preferring a preselected man against them, as it turns out the signal of preselection was manufactured. Perhaps those women would do better for themselves to actually vet for character rather than just see a man who other women find attractive as also attractive. But then again, they would not have slept with him in these circumstances in the first place if they had a real moral compass.

I've considered this move myself.
If you put a ring on it they'll like it, go fucking figure... I think it has to do with the notion that the 'stealing' lady believes that she has a genuine, certified ChadChecked™ male who is valuable enough to Some Other Bitch for her to tuck away her hoe card, and that if the 'cheating woman' can bag him that means she's better than the wife, in some weird twisted way... It's got nothing to do with 'the prize' she steals, it all has to do with her proving that she's sexy and desirable to hunky ChadChecked™ high-value males. She Still Got It.

Long time reader, first time poster. I was blue-pilled for most of my youth, through two marriages, and when I finally took the red pill, I met the love of my life.
What I wanted to add to this conversation is my own experience with becoming a HVM once I had a ring on my finger. In high school, I was easily overlooked by girls. Tall, very thin, wore glasses and a good student. There was one girl in my class that everyone (males) considered to be the hottest girl in the entire school. As far as I recall, we never spoke, and I am certain she didn't know my name.
We held a five year reunion, and I went with my first wife, who had also been in my class. It seems that this girl and my wife had once worked at the same retail store during high school, so they were acquainted. When we walked into the venue, she came over to speak to my wife, I think mostly to see who she was with. She then proceeded to hit on me the rest of the evening, right in front of my wife!
I was still the same guy from high school, other than filling out a bit from loading trucks for UPS. She proceeded to tell me that I couldn't have graduated in her class, because she is sure she would have remembered me, etc. Touching my arm, fluttering her eyelashes at me. It was so blatant and and disingenuous that it made me feel ill.
I shook her off and had a great time with my wife, laughing at her attempt to seduce me. We both decided that she was of the opinion that she was much higher value than my wife, and that she was going to show her that she could take away what she had any time she wanted. It didn't work, and I took my marriage vows seriously. But I think that experience, and a couple more that I had during that time, is what started me seeing women as they truly are.
My first marriage didn't work out, because you can't fix crazy, no matter how much you love someone.
[–]Phillipsluke 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've tried this for about a week to see if it would work.
I got a few girls numbers, but because I don't like to lie ( never mentioned a wife or anything besides just wearing a ring on my ring finger) and felt uncomfortable so I took off the ring. The few girls I ended up exchanging numbers with noticed I wasn't wearing a ring anymore and asked if I was married. I told them I'm not and after that day they stopped talking to me ( all while in college). Girls only want what they can't have. It doesn't matter if you're attractive or not. If you're funny or taken they will be attracted to you.
[–]Packerphan66 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

[–]sleepyweaselisawakeI never flair my posts 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Just got to any jewelry store. Look at a few pieces, ask to get sized. They'll size you. Profit. If you're going to buy a ring, don't buy anything expensive.

[–]OverkillengineCasts Pearls to the Swine 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Hell, if one is into the trades or larping as such or into any hobby where degloving a finger or electrocution is a potential issue, one can also just get a silicone wedding band for super cheap compared to an actual ring. Like, literally under $10 and one can use it as a conversation piece as to why one is wearing it instead of a metal band.

Not suggesting someone talk about their Boots of Escaping or that time they slew a red dragon lol. (Unless the discussion is in regards to methods of how to make pussy drier than the Sahara and make the woman think it was her idea to leave.) I'm using the term in a more general sense of "putting on a show" and not the activity it originally was coined to refer to. It's become a euphemism for acting/deception outside those circles.

I got a pack and attached them to my keys, so when I'm put into a situation for work where I'm stuck in close proximity to a woman 1v1, It hopefully makes it seem less like I'm hitting on her. So far it's worked pretty well, but who knows in the future. I just want to defray any of that "oh he's nice to me, so he must definitely be obsessively in love with me!" nonsense.

The ring speaks to their subconscious cavewoman programming - that another woman has already validated him to be of some worth, which makes women skip their subconscious checklists as another woman has done all the hard work for them. The path of least resistance doesn't only apply to electrical circuits - anything for an easy ride and some women take it - like these women did.

It does work. It's a simplified version of showing up at the watering hole with an attractive chick one weekend and showing up solo the next. Never been a fan of the trick though. A wedding ring shows weakness or at least lends itself to financial screening.
