I don't have a LTR now, but I did enjoy actual dates with my previous girl. She was a lot of fun to be with. I don't know what to tell you other than maybe your girls are just boring.

This idea that one always has to be productive at every minute of every day is a strange modern phenomenon. I've been noticing it more and more lately among the younger generation, especially with the MGTOW types.

Contrary to many without experience with women, I think they can make great companions. I do tons of things with my LTR.

I never understood why rp men go in LTR's if they don't plan on having kids with them. Of course you can use the time better, but if you have kids together, you should spend time together raising kids and ocassional vacation, dinner and so on but still more focus on your mission etc. You just won't have as much time for hobbies and fitness.

If you have an LTR just because you are lazy, it won't last, and it's scarcity mindset. Spending time with her will keep you away from your hobbies and mission and you will inevitably change. Do you really want that? You can have fwb's you can do stuff with.

If you are committing, do it right.

Yes, that’s why you get in an LTR in the first place. You decided to get into an LTR because you lacked abundance mentality, since if you didn’t enjoy hanging out with her that much you wouldn’t have decided to be with her in the first place.

Why spend time with someone if you don’t actually enjoy the time being spent? This means you are wasting your time, and time is an extremely valuable commodity.

Some girls are just boring consumers. I have had the same thing OP I'm surprised so many commenters disagree. Obviously you shouldn't be in a committed relationship to a girl like this. There's a certain amount of acclimation that will occur in any extended relationship, whether with someone of the opposite gender and platonic / sexual / romantic. You asked for others experiences so here's mine: I'm a bisexual dude who decided to get married to another man, and gets to enjoy men and women on the side. I'm with my husband not because he excites me every day after 10 years of marriage, but because I appreciate what he can do for me as a man and how he's proven that he's been worth and is still worth my time. That principle is not different if he was a woman instead, or just a friend, or just a fuckbuddy, or whatever. I would just judge a woman or a friend by a different metric of value because women are not men and friends are not spouses or fuckbuddies.

So figure out what you want, if your LTR is fitting what you want, and act accordingly.
